If you're wanting to refinish or even change the color of your car's interior plastic then there is nothing on the market better than SEM Color Coat. It's definitely on the pricey end, but 1 can goes a long way if done properly.The biggest thing to remember when refinishing or changing the color is to follow the directions EXACTLY. I’ve used SEM products for years and they always perform well if you use as directed. My only problem is they use crappy nozzles that drip after a few coats, also don’t ever go by the color of the cap or you’ll be disappointed.

Top notch product. It works better on vinyl and plastic than on carpet, but I've used it on both and the results are good on carpet and excellent on vinyl and plastic. My door panel had become very discolored with a range of grays. A single coat and the door panel looked as good as new.Great stuff.

If vinyl is prepped well, it does an excellent job. Be sure to purchase vinyl prep.

For such an expensive product you would think that the nozzle that dispenses the aerosol would have been designed properly. I sprayed three cans of this stuff and had the same problem with each, i.e., paint spatter. Without any warning small drops of the paint would suddenly be discharged onto the work piece leaving ugly blotches that couldn't be covered even after six coats. If finally figured out what was causing the problem, but the solution isn't as easy as might appear. Finger fatigue from nozzle depression caused me to extend my index finger a little too far forward and interfere ever so slightly with the jet of aerosol leaving the nozzle. The result was spattering of paint on the work surface. One might quickly attribute this to operator error, but think again. The cheap can of primer that I bought had a much more ergonomically designed nozzle that would have prevented this problem had that design been included on the SEM product. I might buy this paint again; time will tell how it wears. But if I do I will be sure to invest in an aerosol paint applicator with a gun grip before I attempt to spray any paint. For the price of one can, a more ergonomically designed nozzle or an applicator should have been included.

The color of the paint does not match the sample sheet. As another reviewer said, it is always lighter than what is showing on the sample sheet. I tried to return but seller said they could not take returns because it is flammable. Yet, they were are able to ship it to me so I do not understand. Poor customer service!!!

Color Coat works great but the colors NEVER come close to the cap... The final finish is always 2 to 3 shades lighter. I've now purchased 4 grays all of which have samples and caps that are darker than the interior color and they continue to dry too light. No where near either example given.
