This is my true, honest review.I purchased this weekender bag to substitute another one I bought about 10 years ago that is falling apart. That original weekender was bought when my oldest was just a baby (he is almost 10 now) and, at the time, I needed an extra bag to carry just my stuff whenever we would go back & forth to visit my husband & I's parents back in our hometown (which was quite often). That bag would only fit my stuff for one weekend (no shoes) & that was it. Ever since, we have added another child and, as I mentioned before, my old weekender bag was falling apart. So, I started the search for a replacement. I landed on this bag...This weekender bag is AMAZING!!! I can fit 2 pairs of adult shoes (my husband's + mine) + 2 pairs of children's tennis shoes & 2 pairs of children's sandals on the bottom compartment. In the big compartment on top, I can fit my clothes, my husband's clothes, my two boys' clothes (2 days worth of clothing for all, rolled up), a small square makeup bag for essentials (just so I don't look dead), a small bag with essential makeup brushes, and 2 small flat purses, AND there is still room left over on the sides! WHAT?! 😱😁 The clasps on the side are super useful to reduce or increase the space on the sides of the bag or to lift and assist with closing the zipper.Please, keep in mind, this is NOT a hard structured vinyl bag. It's more of a strong canvas type, which works to it's advantage to fit stuff in all nooks & crannies. If you are looking for a structured bag this is NOT for you. If you're looking for a bag that will fit your entire family's clothes & shoes for a weekend and still have room to spare, this bag IS for you. This bag is a workhorse.As far as the design & quality, it's absolutely beautiful. It looks chic, elegant, and really good quality. I chose the marble/black with gold clasps. I am 1000% satisfied with my purchase. The price was right and it truly gives you the best value for your money. I cannot recommend this bag enough. GET IT!!!

I thought this was going to be more structured and also didn’t realize how big it was. All in its a great bag, just different than expected.

This bag is huge. I can get everything I need in it with room to spare for a weekend trip. Plenty of zippered pockets and an open pocket that you can slide over the handle of your suitcase. The bottom pocket is great for flats and flip flops. If you had light clothes in the bag you could probably put dress shoes in the bottom zippered pocket too. Overall, a well made, sturdy weekend bag. Don’t hesitate, buy it. You won’t be disappointed!!

Can't honestly say what it is like since I bought it as a gift, but my wife seems to like it and that's all that counts haha.
