Died abruptly after 4 months. Worked well before that
It suddenly stopped working after three or four months. Light stopped flashing and it seems dead. They are pretty cheap so it's not terrible to replace, but I'm worried that it's not going to stick around very long.

So far so good - Updated 2013
Like a lot of others I get a few mice each winter when temps dip low in NJ, this year was no exception. I trapped two in traps, which always worked in the past, then bought this device plugged it in. Within a couple days I actually saw a mouse in the early evening which is very rare as they are normally out overnight and avoid being seen. This suggested to me the device was driving it out from the walls. I subsequently set another trap but two days later have yet to capture anything which is also unusual, the traps with peanut butter have been highly effective for me. I live in a smaller home and they will congregate at night in the kitchen area. Anyway, my theory is the mouse was driven out by the device. Also if you read the manufacturer's website it will point out that initially more mice might be seen in the house shortly after plugging in the device as they are driven out from walls and hiding places. This has been my experience so far.*UPDATED JAN 2013* OK, so it's been a year later and I decided to update this review....since those intial comments I've had two mice in my house (that I know of)...until now I've only used one unit on the first floor. Over the summer, I had a mouse in my basement where there was no unit and I found it dead...just recently I trapped a live mouse on the main floor where I have a unit functioning - at least the red light is blinking. My opinion is I probably need more than 1 unit for my house..and probably one for larger homes (2000) that covers a larger area (my house is average size)...I'm going to have a total of 3 units - one larger for main floor and two for small spaces upstairs and basement (1000). It's honestly hard to say if the pest a cator works or not. I think there is some effect and it is worth a small investment. Over the past 5 years I've had to trap 3-4 mice each winter, since I bought the first unit I have trapped 1 so far.

I think they worked!
We live in the suburbs near a wooded ridge and have an assortment of wildlife in the backyard. But this winter some of the critters decided they'd rather live inside. Occasionally, our cat would catch one & leave it as a gift - it didn't happen often so we didn't think much of it.Until this spring...You'd see something skitter by out of the corner of your eye or hear chewing under the floor. The cat was now leaving gifts nearly every night. (I was sure that one morning we'd wake up and find him tied up with a note saying "Keep kitty out of the basement or he'll be sleeping with the fishes!")We tried the traps where the critter goes in & doesn't come out. I believe they are still sitting, baited & empty, in the basement. We also tried the old-fashioned traps (like in Tom & Jerry) - but then kitty found one that had done the deed & proceeded to run around the house with the dead critter AND the trap clickity-clacking on the floor until we could get it away from him. Before we gave up & called in professionals, we ordered these. (We ordered the sonic ones too, but these went up first.) Expectations were low but we figured it would be cheaper to try. The packaging says that there will be more activity at first because the pulses make them uncomfortable. It also says to back these up with other repellents & traps - so we added the sonic ones, more of the old-fashioned traps, & a litter box in the basement so that the cat had a "presence" down there 24/7.Increased activity? Oh my word, yes. But just as we were all ready to lose our minds & start singing that Michael Jackson song...they disappeared. Now, because I'm superstitious I hate to say that we're rid of them. But there's been no more chewing. No more skittering. AND NO MORE GIFTS FROM KITTY! I didn't expect much from these little gadgets but I am impressed.

These work!!
I was done! Mice got into my pantry and I had to throw away a lot of food 🤬. This product was highly recommended to me by a friend. I set glue traps, snap traps and plugged this in my pantry. I have not seen or caught a mouse since plugging this in. Buy it, you will not regret it. They work!!

It works
I live in a small apartment in NYC. I’ve had a terrible water bug problem. The apartment needed to be sprayed every 3 months, which I didn’t like because of the poison. The local hardware store recommended this device. Knock on wood I haven’t had one bug since. I ended up buying a second one although they say it’s not necessary. I’ve also sprinkled boric acid in places. Bugs and rodents hate the vibrating noise this device makes. I’m staying optimistic that this device has solved my bug problem.

I Think It's Working
This product is a little difficult to review because it's one of those no news is good news situation. I did not necesarrily see any increased number of mice after plugging it in the wall. I did see a mouse outside the house and I don't believe I heard it inside. In the past, if I am seeing mice outside, the next day or so I can hear them in the walls. However, it is also middle of winter here and not sure if that has to do with the result. As of now, I am satisfied with it and will recommend it. I bought 3-units and it's on all levels of my split-level house.

Junk
Does not work in my house. Does not fulfill the sellers blurb. And no way to prove it works in anyone's house.Varmints still came around after current injection allegedly was to discourage them.
