High quality features and sound for a fraction of the price!
I don’t write reviews very often but sometimes you want to give something credit where credit is due. These little known earphones really are the real deal! I have purchased several wired and wireless headphones due to my rough treatment of them including Bose soundsports and these are the best overall earphones I have found at any price. Below I will lay out my case for them and also express their limitations (it can’t be all good news at this price range).Pros:Sound - the highs are clear, midrange is flat and clean, and the bass is very strong and responsive (even to frequency’s well below 30 hertz, which is not something I have found anywhere else). These are by far the best sounding earbuds I have owned and that is at any price range.Signal - The Bluetooth signal travels impressively far without cutout! I can not extend beyond its range while in the house even through walls more than 50 feet away. The other day I started a run and didn’t realize until I was on the road that my phone was back in the house. It went really far before it started cutting out!Comfort - though overall a little bit bulky I can wear them for hours without the classic aching feeling that other earbuds sometimes cause.Multi-function touch technology - You can adjust volume, skip tracks, pause, play, and access Siri all from a pattern of click-free touches to the left or right earbud. This works reasonably well and once you get the hang of the patterns and their controls it is very convenient (though admittedly slow to perform multiple actions in a row) to adjust the volume or switch tracks.Built in Mic - This is pretty much a standard feature but it works well and is essential for me to switch between music and business calls quickly and easily!Charging carrying case - This is a nice feature and makes using it for long periods less of an issue because you don’t have to go home to plug them in to charge them. Fit them easily into the reasonably sized hard case (with a magnetic latch) and they charge in your pocket. They can charge 4ish times this way before the case needs to be charged! It is really nice! Each charge lasts for several hours also so you can generally go days without charging the base (depending on use)Isolation - sound isolation is very decent despite no active sound canceling.Cons:Being a runner the one thing that is not ideal for me is it’s lack of around-the-ear structure, or intra-choncal structure like my Soundsports. They do stay in well during my current winter runs in Michigan but on hot sweaty days it might be an issue.Occasionally when I pull them out of the case only one will connect to Bluetooth. I will have to place it back in for about 3 seconds and then remove it again... it’s not a big deal but just a bit obnoxious when it happens.Twice I have had it pulsating off and on like it was dying and loosing Bluetooth connectivity despite just being recently removed from the case. This has been resolved both times by placing them back in the case for several minutes and then retrying. Not sure why it is happening but so far it has not been anything other than a minor nuisance.Overall:These are great and if you consider just how much you save over a comparable big name brand it is simply remarkable! How they are doing this for a fraction of the price should concern me for the wages of the people making them. If product support and longevity keep in line with performance (of which I can’t speak on having only owned them for a month and not ever contacting support) they should be at the top of your list!Update: there are several issues that have shown up over the months of ownership that I should relay (not in any particular order)Don’t stay in ears quite as well as originally expressed. Definitely not for significant motion... but the ones with ear flaps if you need them to stay.I keep hanging up on people and pausing the music because when they start to slide out of my ears the readjustment on the touch sensitive “button” hangs up the call. It is very annoying! They are sensitive to not being placed in the case quite right and so sometimes they don’t charge while in the case.Overall still very functional but there are definitely some issues that can be frustrating.

Great sound, a little finicky
I really love these earbuds. I have a set of large wireless cans (skulls) and a pair of wired beats - each of these were $150+, I needed something small for travel, conference calls, etc. - and these can compete with my other headphones on quality of sound, depth, and comfort all the way. I was really surprised given the price. They will never replace the beats, but I've honestly used these more often - even outside of travel.Battery life: I've gone 3 to 4 hours easy using these. And if they were getting low, the case charges them up again quickly. I charge the case when I remember - once every week maybe. Two small complaints: these are not wireless charging enabled, which doesn't sound like a big deal, but I have wireless charging docks at work and on my nightstand, and not having to fumble with the case and USB cord would make charging much easier. The second thing is that the case is charge with a micro USB, not USB C.... which is even more of a pain because you have to fumble with the cord to get it to fit the case. Other (earlier) PEATS had already started using USB C, not sure why these did not. Annoying.Sound: deep, clean. As other reviews said, the bass is strong. They are loud, but not shrill. Call quality is really good, and people on the other end seem to hear me well. If there is a lot of background noise around me, the earbuds try to pick that up as well, and it sometimes makes the sound choppy on the receiving end, but mostly everyone has been able to hear me just fine.Comfort: They create a great seal in your ear (make sure you attach the right size tip). After a while they can create some fatigue, but usually after more than an hour, and even then - not too bad.Ease of use: This is where I bring the review down a star. The touch feature on each earbud is great - just sensitive enough, but not so that it changes tracks every time you accidental come in contact with them. You do have to touch for a crazy long time to turn the buds off. I don't like that these are hooked into my assistant (triple touch) - I seem to trigger it a lot when trying to pause music or switch tracks. Going forward is easy, but going back a track I'm still not 100% is possible. If you hold touch the left earbud (which is how you should go back a track), it takes you to the beginning of the track already playing. Connectivity is also an issue - I've had to take these out of the case and put them back in (to reset) and then take them out again multiple times to get them to sync up. Sometimes one earbud will connect, and the other will either not turn on at all (when removed from the case), or it will just continue searching for the other earbud to connect with - without success. This can be frustrating, and can take 5 min or so to figure out.Style: They are a bit bulky (bigger than airpods), but not heavy or overwhelming in any way. The material of the buds and the case feels solid and not at all cheap. The case is a bit bulky too - and rounded/domed - which makes it feel awkward in my pocket.Overall I'm really pleased with these earbuds. I got them for something like $32 on Amazon, and they are performing like earbuds I would have easily paid double that price for.

The phone call function ACTUALLY works!
First off, I've only ever had two pairs of wireless earbuds and both of them are the SoundPeats brand so I don't have much to compare to except my own expectations. The first pair of earbuds I purchased were the SoundPeats True Wireless which I have been using for a year. I'll give you a short summary on these first since they're the standard I've been holding the new ones up to.True Wireless:Pros:Excellent sound quality.Fit well with the contour of my ear.The noise canceling is minimum (a pro for me but probably a con for others)Cons:They start to slip out of my ear after about an hour.I've never made a successful phone call with them.Overall:One of them had a little adventure in the washer machine and the other fell out of my ear into the kitchen sink...and yet somehow they still work just as well as they did the day the arrived. Since then they don't pair together though (which hasn't bothered me because I usually only wear one anyway). I have resigned the little buds to being lost many a time from slipping between the cushions or being forgotten in a seldom used jacket but I magically still have both of them and will definitely continue to use them until they die on me. The only reason I got a new pair was because I needed to be able to make phone calls. And speaking of...TrueCapsule (this model which I have had/used for three days):Pros:Light design.Makes phone calls PERFECTLY (never had anyone tell me I was unclear or couldn't be heard)Longer distance range from my phone than the TrueWireless.Cons:Don't fit as well in my ears as the TrueWireless.Music quality isn't as good as the TrueWireless but still perfectly adequate. The buds batteries don't last as long as the TrueWireless but the charging case seems to make up for that. The touch function instead of a button isn't the best trade off. If the bud is being held in my hand, or even in my pocket, the touch function can be triggered which is annoying. And when it's in my ear tapping it makes a pretty loud sound which is a little tough for my sensitive ears. I never had any issues with the button on the TrueWireless so I'd have to say I prefer it. The functions themselves aren't too difficult to learn, however, and the touch pad being sensitive certainly makes it easier to tap to the right functions.Overall:The sound quality isn't as great as the TrueWirless but still pretty good. The microphone for calls works excellently which is honestly all I could ask for. Looking for a pair of earbuds that had good reviews for phone calls took me many long hours and I'm very relieved to say that I'm not disappointed with these. I will definitely use them a lot (I'm hoping I won't lose them and REALLY hoping they don't have watery adventures too XD)! SoundPeats seems to be a quality brand from my experience and I will more than likely continue to buy my earbuds from them in the future.

Superb value for money with great sound and outstanding battery-life.
I was looking for a cheap alternative to my Airpods for taking to the gym/jogging (as I'm worried about losing them), and opted to go for the TrueCapsule because of the extremely tempting price after Black Friday discounts.I'm well aware of the many "cheaply made" products on Amazon that receive fake positive reviews and ratings, so to be honest I was a little hesitant at first, but I decided to buy them anyways with the intent of returning them if they were subpar.Yet the TrueCapsule blew me away! As someone who really cares about sound fidelity, my main concern was how it was going to sound. While it's obviously no match for my Bose SoundTrue Ultras, it actually holds up quite well given its price point, especially against the Airpods. While the sound stage is mediocre at best and bass not quite punchy enough for my tastes (I listen to Pop/EDM/Drum n Bass), the sound is crisp with decent high to mid-range and treble. The noise-isolation, while not mind-blowing, also gets the job done. When you consider these cost under $30 however, you really can't ask for more. The best part however is the long battery life that these earbuds provide. I've been using them for nearly a week now and haven't had to charge them yet. They're also extremely easy to pair out of the box, and once connected they auto-connect without an issue when you take them out of the charging case. It's also worth mentioning that the build quality, while nowhere as premium as Airpods or other $100 + earbuds, they're quite solid and comparable to that of Anker and Skullcandy. The only issues I have with the TrueCapsule is the touch controls, as they don't always work (or perhaps it just takes longer to get used to), and sometimes when I turn on the earbuds by long-pressing the button it only turns on the side I pressed, meaning I'll have to activate the other earbud manually (this isn't an issue when you take them out of the case though, as they both turn on and pair automatically). I guess this is a way for those who want to only use one earbud for phone calls, so it's not really a big issue.Do these make the Airpods obsolete? No, the AirPods still feel more premium and sound a little better. But at over $100 less, if you're someone on a tight budget or simply don't care about the clout of owning an Apple product, these are the perfect true-wireless earbuds to consider.Overall, I'm impressed with the TrueCapsule given it's price point, and can say that if you're on the edge about getting these because you've never heard of the brand, give it a shot. They won't disappoint.--------------------------------------------------------Pros:- Great sound for the price-point- Outstanding battery life- Comfortable fit- Easy-to-use auto-pairingCons:- Touch controls are a bit flimsy/hard to get used to- Could have punchier bass- If turned on manually, you have to activate both earbuds individually (not an issue if you take them out of the case and they turn on automatically).- Still uses Micro-USB to charge instead of Type-C

UPDATE: Be sure to remove the clear film the buds before using— or it won't charge/pair !
REVISED 2-27-20: I had this problem on 2 different earbud products, and only realized what the problem was when looking at reviews of a third product, one more expensive that these. Thankfully a reviewer mentioned this problem, so I am repeating / soundpeating this basic tip! Some folks like me are hesitant to remove all those protective films from products til knowing everything works as intended-- so there is no problem when making a return if necessary. Except in this particular product category, wireless earbuds, where that fundamentally prevents the product from working because the film is protecting/preventing contact with the wireless charging contacts. So, totally fessing up to bad user error. In my original review below, I was experiencing what I thought was a faulty charging mechanism. Not so. Once i removed that protective film, everything working perfectly. One last comment: I also ordered the Soundpeats TRUE AIR earbuds, and though it more resembles the Apple airbud in-ear design, without the rubber tips that create better bass response, I actually greatly prefer the sound quality of the TRUE AIRS over this model, the TRUE CAPSULE.NOTE: You will no longer find the TRUE AIR model on Amazon listed that way, because of what I imagine was a name challenge from Apple. So if you're looking for this white TrueAir earbud, it's here, just not under that name. It's listed like this: "SOUNDPEATS Wireless Earbuds with Charging Case, Bluetooth Headphones Smart Touch Control 30 Hours Playtime, APTX Audio CVC Noise Cancellation Built-in Mic, Bluetooth 5.0 TWS Earphones One Step Pairing"ORIGINAL REVIEW:I was pretty happy with form factor, lightweight, ease of fit in-ear. Pairing was easy with my android phone and macbook pro, but I did have problem with pairing to an older Mac Pro. Despite using several different 3rd party bluetooth 4.0 dongles, i could never get these to pair with the older Mac Pro, but i accepted that part. But when after short while the left earbud was telling me "recharge headsets", i dropped them into the case, which was fully charged, and they would not recharge. Later I put both buds into the charger case, and used the Micro USB cable to charge the charging case/buds overnight, today i found that even though the charging case showed all white lights, neither one of the buds showed any lights at all. Tried pulling them out of case and place into ears and tap to activate, but nothing. Found the soundpeats video on youtube for "how to reset" for pairing & other problems. Followed instructions holding for 10 seconds but again, no lights have ever appeared. It's possible this is a fluke of a defective pair, but this is pretty disappointing. Never even got several hours of usage, and never even had opportunity to test a voice call, my primary use case.
