I have four cocktails and they make a bit of mess with the food. I purchased this clear plexiglass box to minimize the seeds all over the floor. Easy to put together and fits great in my cage! make sure you measure if you have a smaller cage. Extremely functional and my babies love the box. Easy to add seeds, easy to remove from the cage and empty the shredded remaining of the seeds. Once in a while I was the box with warm water and a bit of gentle soap to clean and sanitize the box. It’s durable and the clear color makes it less visible in the cage. My bird population is extremely happy and they enjoy the food dispenser. I have an additional dispenser to ensure they have enough food.

My lovebirds love this bird feeder and so do I. Goodbye to the mess and having to vacuum/ sweep the seeds. Got the 6x6x6 and it’s the perfect size for my two lovebird.

There is nothing negative to say about these feeders. They are well-made, sturdy, and do the job of minimizing seed mess. I would caution everyone to be sure that your bird is small enough to turn around in these to get out. I have two ringneck doves and I ordered the medium size (the largest they had). My doves took to them right away, having no issues figuring out how to get in them and access the food. Our problem was, when they finished eating from them the first time, they could not turn around to get out. I had to take them out by hand backwards because their tails were too long to fit inside the box to allow them to turn to get back out. This is the only reason I will need to return these, and it's no fault of the seller or manufacturer. I will be replacing these with the extra large bird baths and using that for seed instead, to still keep the mess at a minimum but have enough room for them to come and go. But I would highly recommend these for any smaller bird less than say 8 inches long or so. Hope this helps :)

This box is a good size for my Eclectus parrots. I love that it has greatly cut down on the amount of food spillage and tossing. My boy took to it pretty quickly, but it took my girl several days. My biggest and, probably, only complaint is that it is extremely difficult to clean and place food in the back where the feed station actually is. My parrots must eat fresh fruit and vegetables. The top doesn’t open, so getting inside of it to place their varied diet, wash it out, and clean the feed area and corners is very difficult and time consuming. If you only feed seed or pellets, cleaning won’t be as big an issue. Overall, it’s a great box, but I hope they improve it by eventually making the top open.

Oh how heavenly!!! Game changer for feeding my cockatiels. Both fit in easily to eat and BOOM!! No mess!! Highly recommend!! (Keep an eye on bolts though. If they fall into food, you’ll probably accidentally throw them away. Keep em tight.

Easy to clean, keeps food clean and keeps loss at a minimum. My birds seem to like them. They got the idea right away. My female Barraband is the only one of my birds who can still get food out of hers (large quantities, stinker) I only put 2 scoops in hers so she has to get in, stand on perch and kind of reach for the food. This has helped prevent loss of food.

My parakeets loves to dig on the food bowl and I got tired of cleaning the mess on the floor. So I bought this to help with this issue and it helped a lot. Now when they try to dig the food still inside and they don't do too much mess with the food. Is a grate material, easy to take out and fill it up and easy to clean it too. It fits perfect on one of the sides. On the picture you can see the food capacity, I don't like to fill it up too much so dmthey don't do too much mess when digging. Good quality and price.

Not compatible with very large cage. The hooks leave a gap because the box does not sit flush with the door opening due to bar spacing. The hooks should be taller. Used both hooks; the other set of hooks will not even work because there isn’t enough space unless you hold the box flush with the cage and then screw the brackets on the box. Either way was a nice concept but not compatible. See photos. Returning Side note, my tiel backed out, he didn’t like the hard plastic edge after the smooth metal rod step. I will post a video.
