Amazing
These have been a lifesaver for us, we have used them in so many different ways, including strapping the TV down so my son wouldn't pull it off of the entertainment center and end up on top of him, which almost happened a few times before getting these. The piece of mind is priceless.....thank you for such an amazing product.

Okay, but not for keeping a door ajar.
I bought them for use in keeping a door ajar far enough so my cats could enter a room, but not my 1.5 year old child. As soon as installation was finished he immediately and easily burst through, so they don't work for this purpose. They obviously will work on smaller doors such as cabinets or keeping a trashcan etc. Closed. But I bought some of a different brand that I personally find easier to unlatch than these. Disappointed, but didn't have high hopes that the 3m tape would function for my purpose. Currently using monkey door latches and they work okay but don't leave a large enough gap. Wish these would've worked out.

Great design, great functionality!
What a wonderfully thought-out product! These sturdy, easy-to-clean straps couldn't be easier to install or operate, and the adhesive is super-kind to surfaces. I'm impressed with the material quality and I'm glad there are several in a pack, as I suspect I will be finding other places around the apartment where these will be just the right solution.

Best childproofing product on the market
I wish I would have purchased these before I bought those pain in the butt drawer latches. These are the best thing to use for keeping your little one from getting into cabinets and drawers and can also keep them from smashing their little fingers. So far I am on my second package of these and I will probably get another one to keep on hand.

Highly recommend
I was looking for a baby proof product that could keep my 1 year old out of the cabinets, she recently was able to get into the baby proof locks that were installed on the inside (her hand could fit through the gap and pull down on them) now I don't have to keep getting her away from the cabinets every 5 minutes.

Best design - effective deterrent for the kids and it doesn't come off easily
I have tried many different child safety straps and this is undoubtedly the best!I can easily adjust the length of the strap and remove them for our convenience when our kids are not at home. Thanks to the strong 3M tapes, they are secured and don't come off easily.It is priced competitively and what makes it a star buy is the fabulous free gifts.These straps are an effective deterrent which also protects the naughty little hands in my home. When our son learned how to open the refrigerator I knew we would be needed a good lock. These have been FABULOUS. We're able to lock the fridge, freezer, and all the cabinets the kids are able to access easily. I have absolutely loved these and plan on buying more for our bathrooms.

Not #1 in my book
My 3 year old broke one within 5 minutes of me installing it. It was intended to keep his baby brother out of the toilet, and 3yo knew how to work it and it still broke. Also, read instructions before messing with them or you will render them completely useless
