We had a few louvers that had fallen and weren’t sure how to fix them. I ordered this and watched a you tube video and now we are all set. Very inexpensive and did the trick!

It is reasonably straightforward to fix the broken shutter. My husband said that sometimes he had to drill the holes bigger to put them in. I'm still trying to understand what that meant, but if you know how to fix the shutter, I'm sure you understand. He highly recommends these; it is cheaper to fix them yourself, and these are perfect for that.

The pins were fused together so tightly I have difficulty taking them apart for use

I have indoor wood shudders. One was missing a peg causing it to slant. The pins and the metal fixed it quickly and easily

It's a simple product but it worked exactly as I'd hoped. The pins fit with no problem. It was easy to push down the spring loaded part and slide the louver into place with a satisfying "click" when the pin engages. I was able to do it with a finger, no tools needed for the louver pins. Putting in the staples is always a bit more challenging. These staples were exactly the size of my original staples which helped a lot. 40 pieces means you have enough pins and staples to completely replace the hardware for 10 louvers. I'll definitely buy this again when I run out.
