1/2 Inch Shank Architectural Molding Edge-forming Router Bit Set - 5 Sizes

I knew not to expect much for $40 - $8/bit. I needed it quick and these were in stock, but...- Fit and finish isn't great - coating is thin and or inconsistent- seemed sharp out of the box - but they'll only handle about a 1/16" bite before they get unstable and that's running in a heavy 3 HP shaper - don't even think I'd try these in a router.- Cut about 8' each of Cherry molding with 2 bits and about 6 passes later I did get an acceptable finish for this project.- Cutters feel dull now and are "polished" on the edge, which tells me they are dull. Doubt they are even worth $6 to have them sharpened.Bottom-line, if you want a throw away bit for one project or less and don't expect too much from them - they MIGHT get the job done.Should have waited on a better quality bit or sunk the money in a shaper cutter...
