I found these easy to fit, well finished,neat in appearance and they work a treat! Used to replace some old locks which never worked properly. I'm going to buy more...Noting some other reviews, I didn't use the screws provided but fortunately found some in my "collection": it does seem, these days, it's best to be wary of the screws provided with any hardware, wherever you buy it!

Why did you choose this product over others?:Good quality and adjustable

Very nice pair of ball door catches. A good point to make is that you can make minor adjustments to the protrusion of the ball which helps with the fitting. Having fitted two of these I would definitely recommend using your own screws as the ones supplied are a very poor quality and the head snaps off when screwing into wood (which is a pain as you end up with a broken screw in the location where you want to screw in). If you have your own gold/brass coloured screws then it is a good item to buy. If it weren't for the screws I would have given it 5 stars.

I ordered 2 packs of these, a couple work well but 2 have ceased up with use and I now can't adjust them, they also need adjusting regularly which isn't a huge problem if they work ok

Two of my room doors needed replacement furniture and I thought these ball door catches could serve the purpose by enabling doors to click shut but push/ pull open easily for kids access while foiling many domestic pets. The original door handles remained in place for puhing /pulling as required while maintaining the presentation. Added bonus was that ball catch itself could be adjusted easily to make a positive engagement and and also to make it more or less 'springy'. Pleased with this purchase. Small amount of trimming to fit the complimentary door plate that shows faint score marks after use but not normally visible.

These along with new lock's for my garden gates are working perfectly I don't need to lock the gates behind me these keep them closed and you can just them sometimes due to the weather the wood on the gates can swell witch makes opening and closing the gates harder .
