The hikes are good but the book doesn’t make it easy to understand the hike and plan. It lacks a decent overview of the hikes and doesnt explain what to expect on the hike eg rocky decline (slippery if wet).

Nicely written and laid out guidebook.

Provides dozens of routes, a combination of circular and linear walks of different lengths, a great breadth of options.

This book is an excellent guide to walking Tenerife. It's very detailed with lots of information to guide you along the walks, especially when there are tricky or hidden turns. It also includes the bus routes which is invaluable. Highly recommended.

I like the range of walks, classified so you can easily find routes of the length and dificulty that suit your needs. The maps are clear and helpful, for each walk and with the route and waypoints marked on them. Descriptions are clear and easy to follow. Plenty of information about where to park for each walk or for bus access. This book is packed with essential information. Recommended.
