We previously purchased 3X for our smaller-than-average girl greyhound. The coat is rather short, ending about 6" short of the base of her tail but we used it for a year. So this year we ordered 4X. The one that came said 4X on the label but was 3" shorter than the 3X !! We thought that must be a label mistake, so sent it back and ordered a 4X replacement. Again a 4X label but still it is 3" shorter than the original 3X, so it's going back again and we'll order a different brand.Our greyhound is 25" from shoulder blades to base of tailOur 3X coat measures 25" down the back but the back fits about 5" up the dog's neck from the shoulder blades.The 4X coat measures only 22" down the back.How can 4X be three inches shorter than 3X?Why did we reorder the same brand again? Because other than the small size it is well made, warm and snuggly, easy-to-clean outer material with a good harness. The zipper down the back makes it a good secure fit, better than the wrap-around belted sort that tend to slip sideways. In all, it's a really nice coat but useless for dogs longer than about 20" from shoulder blades to base of tail.So sorry. Lovely if only it would fit. Otherwise five stars.

Super cute coat. Fast delivery on both the original coat and the exchanged coat. Chihuahua Terrier mix approx 15lbs. Large was perfect

Please pay close attention to the size when ordering. I wouldn't think my 16 pound dog would wear a large but after seeing reviewer comments about it running small I ordered the large and it fits very well. This is ideal for days in the park when it's cold but most of the time our little guy is off leash but when we need to attach his leash fairly quickly if people or other dogs approach it's very convenient to get to the leash rings.

I can’t begin to say how much I love this jacket. It’s important that you pay attention to the size chart and don’t let it scare you as it did me to begin with. I have a 15 pound Shih Tzu and according to the size chart he needed an extra large, and my brain said there’s no way my dog can wear an extra large anything, but it’s a perfect fit.

The product states it is waterproof, even shows a video with water running off it. It is my water resistant. After a short walk in a light rain with my dogs the jackets were wet inside and out. They may be warm on a dry day but not in the rain. The jackets have little Stretch. I got an XL for my 25 lbs. Westie and it is a tight fit. Should have gone to a XXL? The jacket is Not good in the rain!

The media could not be loaded.  I got this dog coat for my 9 month old, 16lb pug. She seems to like wearing the coat and it seems to keep her warm. She came from the heat of Arizona to the cold rain and 30 degree weather in Oregon. The harness works great with the leash. The back part covers her butt and it's easy to just flip it up and fold over so she can poop and pee, and it doesn't unfold back over her butt unless I do it. If it wouldn't stay in place, it would be easy to put some velcro on it. But it works well for me. It's also nice to be able to just pick her up using the clip part of the harness as a handle. I haven't washed it but this is a sturdy and well made coat and it's perfect for my pug. I wouldn't hesitate to get it again.Update: Fiona wears this coat all the time with no fuss and it definitely keeps her warm. She was outside all day yesterday and she didn't have any chivering. I'm very happy with this coat for her and I've gotten a few compliments on it from other people. If you're on the fence about getting this coat for your dog, analyze no more and just get it. I love it for Fiona and she likes it too.UPDATE 11/23/22 I went to Heppner and it was 29 degrees in the morning and Fiona was not fazed with the cold and snow. This coat definitely kept her warm during our 30 minute outside walks.

5 years ago I had ordered this exact same winter coat design for my 8 lb. Yorkie in a small from somewhere, I don't remember where. I now wanted a 2nd one. I ordered a similar design from 2 different Facebook advertisers (both of which were made in China) in a size small and they were dreadfully inferior to my 1st coat purchased 5 years ago... narrower and long enough for a Dachshund! Very ill-proportioned. I tried once more with this seller on Amazon and "For joy!", this one is of the same heavier quality and proportion to my 5-yr old one. Perfect fit with just enough room to wear over another layer. The attached harness rides slightly lower on the shoulder so it doesn't pull around the neck. One tip, I tacked the collar back with 3 stitches so it doesn't poke my little guy in the chin. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Arrived on time, good quality & easy to use. Helpful tip: click harness in place first before zipping jacket on if you have Dogs who wriggle.

This is a great winter jacket for a dog, however the sizing chart provided in the ad's image area is very off. I had ordered size XXL, for which the chest girth according to the chart said 24.4". My 18 lb medium-sized schnauzer-poodle mix pup's chest girth measured 19.5", so I thought this jacket would give her a little bit of extra room in case she grew a tiny bit more. To my surprise, the XXL size was so tight on her that I could not do up the zipper on the top. I did check the tag inside the jacket, and it did say XXL. Very unfortunate because this is the style of jacket that I wanted. I wanted one with a built-in harness because my pup is still not to be trusted 100% on a leash with collar alone. Plus it just makes things a lot quicker if the harness is built in to the jacket! The harness in this type of jacket is built in quite well and I feel that it is more stable than some of the jackets that just have a clip with a hole on either side of the zipper for you to put the leash through. The red color is quite pretty, bright, good visibility.

We love this jacket. The fit and function are great. We get a lot of compliments about how cute it looks on our dog. An added bonus is the fact that the strap works nicely to pick up the dog.

Overall liked the coat, fit well. However the zipper wouldn’t stay done up. Dog was off leash and I had to re-zip 3 times within 15 minutes. Finally my dog just walked out of the coat and I had to pick it up off the ground.As shown in the photo, I sewed a strip of velcro so it would fit under the zipper tab and fasten on the other side of the zipper. So far this seems to have fixed the sliding zipper problem.Did anyone else have that issue or did I just end up with a faulty zipper tab?

The harness design focus is on the top of the coat. Unfortunately the is no correct for the dog from underneath . My dog only weighs 7 lbs and managed to easily wiggle out
