Works Beautifully
I originally decided to purchase this because it was the more affordable way to check my Max OAL. Now that I've used it for a couple of my rifles, I don't think that I'd use the more expensive versions from other makers because it is so simple to use and it gives me precisely what I'm looking for to make my custom reloads for pinpoint accuracy for long range shooting. What I'm doing is subtracting 30/1000 from the Max OAL that I get using this gauge. That sounds like a lot, but if you think of it this way, you'll understand even better. The average human hair is 4/1000 of an inch in diameter, so in essence I'm only subtracting the total distance of 7.5 human hairs put together.

It works well
This thing looks cheesy and it is plastic but it works great. Just use a little finesse. I like to measure a few times to make sure I’m good with the number. Have verified results with other more expensive tools.

Overall Length Gauge does the job.
This would have 5 stars if it wasn't made of plastic. It does the job specified. The accuracy depends on the operator. It will work where products - such as the Hornady tool - will not fit in the chamber. It is also cheaper than the Hornady and other similar tools so I could argue if this tool is available the Hornady - or other similar tools - is redundant. This is not for the heavy handed for accuracy will be poor and it will not take mistreatment. Use a little common sense and you will be happy with the results.

Great Concept.
Excellent concept. My experience was that the plastic was a bit too flexible causing measurements to be inconsistent. Might try a harder plastic in the printer. I resolved my issues by adding a metal backing plate welded to a bushing which fit over my cleaning rod with only a +- 0.001" of play at the end of the plate. Works like a champ.

Does the job
This is a cheap and cheerful solution which takes out the guess work for seating depth. It's not particularly robust but just take a little care, it really is an essential and cost effective solution for reloading beginners.

Works great.
It's creasy overpriced, but it is working great. I finally can get consistent measurements of the cartridge length. I recon it cost 30-50 cents to manufacture. $16 price is a bit hard to swallow.

Excellent reference tool
I have several different measuring tools but always revert to this one.

the right price and easy to use
quick easy way to figure out seating depth. not as good as a precision mic, but way less expensive and good for multiple calibres
