Amazing book really captures the reader's attention and has a really good story line, is very detailed and a great read for young readers who like science fiction

Rick Riordan does it yet again! I love every story he puts out and The Burning Maze is no different. These may be "young adult" fiction, but Riordan does not coddle his audience. These books keep it real with life or death scenarios and difficult emotions. The characters are multifaceted people, the story lines hit on real elements of the human experience, and I think many teens can relate to the feelings and experiences of the characters even though it is based in mythology and fantasy. As an adult, I can proudly claim that Riordan is one of my favorite authors because his stories are so relatable, captivating, and enjoyable to read. The Burning Maze is an excellent continuation of The Trials of Apollo. Even though the series is told from the perspective of Apollo in the form of human teenager Lester, it is really a story of an entire ensemble of characters coming together to once again save the world from evil. I cracked this open on my vacation and could not put it down until I finished! I think this is the best Trials of Apollo book yet, and I cannot wait for the next!

Da ich seit langem ein Fan der Rick Riordan Bücher bin habe ich mir natürlich auch diesen Band gekauft und wurde echt nicht enttäuscht. Obwohl mir die Apollo Serie nicht wirklich gut gefiel fand ich dieses Buch unglaublich spannend und fesselnd. Es gab ein paar Ereignisse zu welchen ich gerne ein bisschen mehr Vorgeschichte hätte aber... gut
