Nice little portable device
Does as it says. Would be useful to have more than one USB-C port though

Amazing Space-Saver and Transformed My Computer Setup
Amazing little device. Arrived in packaging making it feel precious. Easy to set up with my MacBook Air M1 and removed the need for one cable (USB C to HDMI). Tidies my working area with all the connections needed the one device (HDMI, USB C and USB 3). The wow factor is that it enabled my 4K monitor to function to its full capacity and that was totally unexpected. Takes up no room at all, just sits on the side of the MacBook and yet makes everything work seamlessly. Delighted with this purchase.

doesnt work
this glitches - with connected devices or usb/hdmi constantly being disconnected so it is totally unreliable.

Almost Every Port You Need
This came in a smart, simple retail packaging and inside you get the 7-in-2 Adapter, Soft Storage Bag and simple instructions. It connects to the Mac by way of 2 x USB-C Thunderbolt Male connectors. Once docked in, you have access to the following connections:1 x 4K HDMI1 x USB-C/Thunderbolt PD1 x Micro-SD Card Slot1 x TF-Card Slot2 x USB-3.0 Side Ports1 x USB-3.0 End PortThe one thing that is missing from this set-up is an Ethernet port. Which I would have personally forgone for one of the USB 3.0 portsThe overall build quality is rather good, with the aluminium casing, and the ports/connectors all look to be very well finished. They are set out well and convenient to access. One other point for mine own purposes, is that I have 2 x 2K monitors and would have liked another HDMI or Display Port for dual monitor work.Size wise, this is slim and light enough to take when travelling or have permanently set-up on your desktop. My current set-up is not designed to really take a Mac and my daughter wanting one for college, this will give her to option to dock with my main office set-up. Rather than docking the Mac straight into this, I will run a couple of short extension cables between it and the adapter. This will reduce any strain when she is using her Mac.Performance is good and, price wise, it looks to be on a par with similar adapters on the Amazon UK website. The only thing I am unable to really comment on how well the dual USB-C connectors will stand up over time.I hope you found this review & photos interesting, informative and useful. Thanks for reading.

Great value for so many ports
I got this USB C hub to use with my Mac book pro as the lack ports really restricts what I can do on it, but the Apple adaptors are so expensive. The quality of this may not be quite as good as the Apple own items but for the price it’s a great compromise as an all in one adaptor. The hub comes well packaged and even has a velvet like bag to keep the item in (perfect for keeping out dust and keeping it safe in my laptop bag). The hub itself does feel a little cheaply made. It’s a very light plastic that doesn’t feel like it’s the greatest quality. It plugs in to the laptop easily and feels secure once in, but I wouldn’t feel it would be safe to move the laptop around too much with it in incase it damages either itself or the laptop if it’s knocked. All the ports work well and as they should.I use my laptop to edit photos so am often using memory cards to move around files and found that it wasn’t the fastest memory card reader but it was at a similar speed to my built in memory card reader on my desktop which is to be expected. It’s not the best for transferring large raw files but does fine with smaller jpeg images.Overall I’m really happy with this for the price. If you’re looking for a fast memory card reader there are better options out there but otherwise I’d definitely recommend this.

Solid, but missing some features.
I've had a lot of these USB C hubs and i've now learnt to be cautious with them, as initially they're fie but almost all of them have had the same issue of the HDMI dying within a few months. As to whether this will follow suit, only time will tell.Once again this hub uses both usb ports on the mac book, but only gives you one back. Personally this is annoying now as it limits my ability to use different devices. Also there's more than enough space for a second slot! This one sadly dosent have an ethernet port, which i've grown to like having on my hubs. It also has the issue of not being able to use both the SD and Micro SD cards at the same time. Your also limited to only 1 external hard drive or USB Drive at a time as well, which is horrible for people like me who use multiple drives for work.I also encounter with one of the USB 3 slots randomly disconnecting and having to fully unplug the device to get it working again.Build quality is OK, nothing special but not to cheap.Overal its not BAD, but its not good either. The flaws mean its not one i would ever use long term. Though it's always good to have another spare as a back up

Perfect for a Macbook Air
My daughter loves her MacBook Air - so sleek and light. However, the port situation is dire. Just 2 thunderbolt ports and a headphone jack! Hence, some sort of adaptor is a necessity, if you want to be able to connect to many peripherals - such as a wired Ethernet connection for online speed, external monitor via HDMI, older USB-A connectors such as memory sticks, etc.The port is plastic. It has tried to match the MacBook silver look, but clearly is not the same machined aluminium perfection. It is connected purely by the friction of the two Thurderbolt connections, which means it is a little wobbly and this is more suited to being on a desk than on your lap. However, it does the job, allowing all the connections she needs in one handy device. She keeps it in the original box for protection, as it is not the most robust of things. There are any number of such connector adapters on Amazon. This one works well, and is priced competitively, so if this has the mix of ports you want, then it is a solid choice.
