I purchased this for my granddaughter who indicated she had one already. So I kept it for myself and am so glad. I have a permanent scar on my knuckle after years of trying to hand grate garlic. With this, I put a few in the basket and then slide the pusher over the micro plane and it drops into the attached container. I have tried a garlic press before, but no longer have the strength to use it. So this product is complete even with a cleaning tool and seems to work perfect and clean up easily. Would definitely help someone who has sensitive skin to garlic as well.

I love this thing. Really well constructed. Looks like it will last a very long time. Works exactly the way it says. I hate chopping garlic. This thing is so easy to use. Just put a few cloves in the little hole, put the plunger top in, and just run it back and forth. It makes the garlic into a perfect mash, using 100% of it. After, I just take a little silicone spatula and scrape both sides of the grate to get 100% of the garlic. This thing works great. They also give you a really good little scrubbing brush to clean the grate when you're through. I spent a little more money on this then others advertised similar products, because they looked kind of cheapy. This one looked much better constructed. And it is! It looks like it will last for years and years. I use it practically every day and I'm I'm loving it. Get one. If you hate shopping garlic, this will make your life way easier. Get one.

Great tool! Grating is for smaller items like nuts, or smaller cheeses. Works great. Very, very knuckle friendly.

Perfect size and functions well without skinning your fingers. Cleans up easily.

I bought this to grate my whole nutmegs and absolutely love it. It works great for any small item and protects it from scattering all over your kitchen counter.

First of all this thing is so small I have to cut a lemon into tiny pieces so why use something like this since I already have to do this is order to use it. Second, it is difficult to use even when I put those tiny little pieces into the little black container, to actually use it, the top comes off easily and the scraper is so tiny that the lemon peal is like liquid, not at all useful to me. I would not buy this again nor would I recommend it to anyone. It is poorly made, useless and I am going to discard it into the garbage and just call it another loss of money. I cannot recommend to anyone to buy this thing. It is not worth the price you pay and simply is a poorly designed and poor quality item.

This is a very nice grater - BUT it is not the one pictured. The grate holes are much larger and there are less of them. In the image, you see 11 and 12 "holes". In the one I got, they are much larger and only 4 or 5 across. This is mice for grating larger pieces, BUT NOT for a fine grate as I was looking for.Other wise, a nice product and seems well made.
