This bag is made of thick, tough material and is obviously made to last. Nothing about it is cheap. The zippers are heavy duty and there are three plastic 'runners' attached to the bottom of the bag to reduce wear from contact with the ground. The bottom and back of the bag have built in stiffeners and always retain their shape so the bag never totally folds up. I was somewhat hesitant to spend $60 on a bag that said Firefighter because I'm actually an Emergency Medical Responder, but I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

Little disappointed that the long shoulder strap came out on one side after less than 4 months of use. I had to take it to a tailor to get it sewn back in. Other than that, it seems to be a good bag.
