Solidarnosc Candied Plums in Dark Chocolate Sliwka Naleczowska (Pack of 2), 12.34 ounces

I have tried several different types of Polish candy over the years, but this one is my all time favorite!!! They are the most delicious chocolate covered fruit you will ever eat. I promise! Plus, I'm not 100% certain why, but for some reason the dried plums (yes, prunes) that are grown in Poland don't give me any of the usual digestive disturbances I (and many others) get from prunes. After some research, it's apparently the naturally occuring Sorbitol (a sugar alcohol) that is found in prunes that can benefit some digestive processes, but eating too many will cause the opposite affect. I have definitely had that happen when I ate too many California (or any US) prunes. BUT, the Polish prunes don't do that! I swear, I have overindulged several times and eaten as many as 6 pieces of this candy in one day, with absolutely no digestive problems at all (that's 6 prunes in a day!). Logically, I assume that the variety of the black plums grown in Poland must not contain as much Sorbitol as the plums grown elsewhere. I say this because I am super-sensative to Sorbitol. I can't even chew sugarless gum with Sorbitol as a sweetener without it messing with my digestive track. But no probs with Polish prunes! These candies are just the best ever. I highly recommend them--the chocolate is so decadent, and with the sweet and slightly tart prunes, it's the perfect bite. You won't be disappointed, I promise!

These are phenomenal!!!! I was looking for specific ukrainian candy brand Svitoch but I couldn’t find it so I came across these polish candies. WOW!!! They are soooo good. I can’t usually eat too many candies at once but these are too addictive. I gave my chocolate lover friend to try it and she was like wow, whats the name I am going to order it right away. Super fresh, super tasty, really delicious chocolate . I placed another order few days later, I hope a new batch is as good. Update: second order was as perfect as the first one
