I've been using it for over a year, two or three drops mixed in with a basic unscented moisturer, and haven't been bitten at all! It smells quite strongly when you first apply it but the smell dissipates within a few minutes once it's applied. I also use it mixed with water to prevent any fleas coming into the house and I'm about to use the same mixture on my plants to deter slugs and snails! So much more effective that environmentally damaging pesticides. The bottle has lasted over a year and I'm shortly going to buy another bottle. I also like that it's in a glass bottle. Quite honestly one of the best things I've ever bought. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smells like Chamomile essential oil *by V***N on 19 July 2026* I must admit, I was a little dubious about this oil initially. The brand itself had rave reviews but I couldn't see any review of chamomile oil in particular. Took a chance on ordering a bottle, and on first impression I am pleasantly surprised, especially for the price. This oil smells authentic, like chamomile essential oils I have purchased before (a sort of mild apple scent, giving way to a smells of hay 😄). It is labelled as anthems nobilis, the Latin name for Roman chamomile, which gives me hope that this IS an essential oil and not a fragrance oil, as I want to use it in my soapmaking and for my hay-fever related urticaria, and I onlu use essential oils for those purposes.
