it exceeded my personl expectations, yes there was a bit of rubber smell but once i washed it well with hot water the smell went off. Good product!

I would advise not to buy these, - they smell so bad/strong that I have not been able to use them even after trying to wash of the smell with vinegar and soap. I have asked the seller to share what the rubber is made off as the smell is like old burned car tires. Honestly worried to use them.

I was cautious about buying a hot water bottle as I've seen mixed reviews on here on how sometimes the plastic can smell but this product was absolutely fine, and the best I could find on Amazon price wise. You don't know which pattern you'll get before it arrives but the one I got was really pretty. very happy customer!
