Not the best from Soundpeats, they look promising... Excellent customer service
Edit- Soundpeats reached out , must say that they have one of the most capable customer support. They explained that it is a defective piece that I might have received and provided me a full refund. I am so happy with their customer service that I have now bought the TrueEngine SE3 from them . I must say that I am very impressed with their commitment . Way to go soundpeats.Once the Soundpeats H1 is available , I will surely try that out and I know I can shop with confidence from them.Below is the original reviewI would start by saying that this isn’t the best from Soundpeats, so if you are looking for good sound quality at same price point then look elsewhere.During the pandemic, I developed a new hobby of reviewing and testing budget earbuds much to the chagrin of my spouse.I stumbled across these due to the great specs they promised but unfortunately for me, they flatter to deceive.I tested these on my Iphone as well as Android across a variety of Genres. My reason for buying themBrand Soundpeats and the high audio quality they deliver to promise . This was my first soundpeats and I had heard some great reviews for the brand.QCC 3040 Chip and Game ModeBluetooth 5.2Insane Battery LifePhysical ButtonsAudio QualityThis is the biggest disappointment for me. I test a lot of budget earbuds between 25 $ to 150$ range and I am complete disappointed by the loudness in these earbuds or the lack of it.I normally don’t listen to loud sounds and rarely go above 50% or 60% on normal earbuds but in these earbuds I have to crank the sound all the way up to 90 -95% to be able to hear anything. This is extremely annoying to me.They have boomy bass, but the soundstage appears to be small. I felt that the mids were very recessed and it feels choked , Vocals are forward but fail to live to the potential due to the low sound on these . If you are a bass head then you would like these but there is nothing going on for these earbuds apart from the bass. The treble is clean but it is the center mids where this really disappoints. These earbuds do have a dynamic sound, and In my view have a V signature sound so if you are someone likes to listen to neutral flat sound then these will not be for you.The Bass and Treble are both boosted in these while mids are recessed. These buds light up when pairing but thankfully don’t glow while playing the sound. These buds are priced at 50$ almost, I have Fill T1XS that are priced similarly and the FIILs just blows these out of the water. The treble can sound harsh sometimes in the fills but the bass, mids and treble completely outplay these Soundpeats. The lower mids are definitely represented much better in the T1XS and the Fiils have excellent soundstage at the same price. Also, the Fiils have an App and the bass mode on the app makes the bass of those earbuds better than the Sonics. In the past year the budget earbuds have come a long way and it is great to have so many options and feature now.In my view however, these earbuds Are priced way too high , they are competing against brands such as Fiil, Earfun which are in similar price range and offer much more than what the Sonics do.Battery CaseThe case actually feel extremely cheap and I feel this is where Soundpeats have cut corners to make this more affotable. I don’t feel like this is going to hold in the long run.No wireless charging on these and I wouldn’t expect that at this price point.Game ModeThis earbuds definitely provides one of the lowest latencies that I have ever tested. However, I have felt distortion sometimes while playing games after switching on the game mode, but for a casual gamer these earbuds would be good.If you Play PUBG, Call of Duty you might even enjoy it due to boomy bass. It gives a very very immersive experience to hear the rumble but the distortion that sometimes creeps in just spoils the mood. I don’t know if it’s just me who felt that or if there were others that felt this too.I have Fiil T1XS and Earfun Free pro that have both a low latency mode and don’t suffer the same distortion as these. In my testing, I didn’t find any difference in the latency between Fiil T1XS and these earbuds even when these are on the latest QCC3040 chipset.Battery Life & Bluetooth connectionThese are both great , these have the best battery Life in the entire market, and I came very close to getting the advertised playtime on these. These have APTX adaptive codecs which should give you a great sound quality theoretically.I see that they have bluetooh 5.2 but at this time, it Is mostly available on high end phones.Physical ButtonsAnother disappointing feature of these is the Physical buttons , I had to press the buttons really hard to register any action and that would push the earbuds hard in my ear canal rendering these very uncomfortable to wear after a while. These earbuds also stick out of your ear mode and their form factor is bigger as compared to Earfun or the Fiils . I don’t get a good secure fit with these but this is very subjective. I would not use them for sport activities or in the Gym as they start to pain in my ears after a whileCallingIndoors the call quality comes out clear, as soon as you take these outside the whole equation changes. It promises CVC 8.0 cancellation and you would think that the audio would be great, but the wind comes thru and your voice then appears muffled and Tinny . I have my 25$ edifier earbuds which are half the price as sonics but do a great job at calling even in the wind.ConclusionI wouldn’t recommend these if you are looking for good audio quality at a budgtr , In fact, I regret them and feel like I should have bought the Soundpeats TrueEngine SE3 instead as they are around the same price range and they appear to be much better with dual drivers. Don’t get me wrong, these earbuds are good but when I compare these against my Fiil and Earfun that are priced in the same bracket – they give me more for my buck than these sonics. If you are someone who is a casual gamer, looking for good battery life with adequate calling quality then you will not be disappointed. If you are buying just for the sound quality then look at others specially Fiil or Earfun which have similary priced earbuds but much much better than these

I own several pairs of SoundPeats, and these are on par with the rest!
So I've owned a few pairs of SoundPeats over the years. Most recently, I had the TruEngine 3Es. These are by far my favorite; however, one side suddenly became extremely quiet, possibly due to water exposure, even though they are rated water resistant. I've had luck with SoundPeats customer service in the past, but the last couple times I've contacted them, they've wanted me to jump through hoops to prove I was actually having an issue with my devices. For example, the first pair of TruEngine 3Es I had, the charging case would not charge. They wanted me to do all sorts of things and record it, then send it to them, before they would offer any sort of assistance. In the end, I ended up having them replaced through Amazon. The second time, when I had the issue of one side suddenly being very quiet, they wanted me to show the case was fully charged, the buds were fully charged, unpair and repair to my phone, pair to a new device, all while showing that the one side was quieter than the other. Which I did try, but the microphone on the other phone I used could not pick up any volume difference on an earbud (which is sort of the point of an in-ear headphone, that everyone else shouldn't be able to hear you...). Unfortunately I'm too far past the return window to get these replaced.Even with these unpleasant dealings in my mouth, I cannot refute that the sound quality is superior, and the amount of time I get out of each charge is so much better than the vast majority of other true wireless ear buds available. Many of the ones I had before only lasted a couple hours before dying. These last all night long and into the next day, then the case will recharge them each at least a couple times. The one thing I don't like about the Sonics that I loved about the TruEngine 3Es is that there is a light indicator for how much charge is left on the case. This helps me know when I need to preemptively charge the case to avoid dropping my buds in and having nothing happen, leaving me stranded somewhere with no access to my audio in public. Another thing I dislike is that the Sonics seem to lack the same ability to fast forward, rewind, and turn the volume up and down as my 3Es did. If they do have these functions, I have yet to find them intuitively on my own (I'll have to find the manual to verify whether these functions exist or not). Other than those 2 complaints, the sound is great and on-par with my 3Es. I did not like the original silicone buds they came with (they would create an uncomfortable suction inside my ear canal even when I used the smallest size) so I took the Comply Comfort tips I'd bought for the 3Es and stuck them onto the Sonics (Comply TrueGrip TWR-200-B). When I bought these from Comply, they were listed to be fitted for the 3Es, but they fit perfectly on the Sonics with no issues at all and they are far more comfortable. These are rated to be water resistant and I have so far worn them in the shower a couple times with no ill effects or sound changes. I don't allow water to run directly over them, but this mild exposure to water seems to be fine with how they are rated. So far I am happy with these as a filler between my 3Es and the new H1s. There has been a lot of bugs with the H1s for their kickstarter beta run, so I will be waiting a little while after they publicly drop to purchase them to ensure I am getting the latest model of the H1, so in the meantime, these are an excellent placeholder. I tried a pair of no-name wireless earbuds and when they consistently died after 30 minutes and only charged halfway in their case, I gave up and returned to my beloved SoundPeats. SoundPeats, I only ask that you fix some of your customer service issues (seriously, why would you ask a loyal customer to go to crazy lengths to prove they're not lying about their malfunctioning device??).
