These clip on lampshade holders are great for any lamp you cannot seem to find the correct harp size for. After 4 trips to my local stores, (I always try to buy local), o turned to Amazon, in search of the 4-6” harp size I needed. I found these clip on “harps”, and thought I’d give them a try. They work amazing with my shades, and the metal on the clip is tight enough so that the shade does not tip to the side. I would definitely give these 5 stars/two thumbs up—whichever makes you feel better about choosing these shade holders. Great find! Note: I would use these for up to a 15” shade?, but for anything larger, I’d definitely keep using a normal lamp harp. My shades were 12x10x13, and they hold well, and exceeded my expectation.

I've always liked this style of lampshade adapter. This is exactly what I needed. Although my new lampshade came with the harp style adapter, it required my taking my lamp apart to install it. So I ordered the Light Bulb Clip Adapter with Finial Top at the same time when I ordered the lampshade. The bulb clip adapter is beautiful and strong. Very well made.

I was so happy to find these! I didn't even know they made such a thing. I had a lampshade I had just gotten for my living room, and an old torchiere floor lamp I wanted to spray paint and give it an updated look. Problem was, the lamp required a screw in bulb and the lamp shade was made to attach with a finial. There was no way to attach the arm thingy I had a spare of, so I turned to Amazon and lo and behold! These couldn't have been easier. Screw in my bulb, clip this onto the bulb, and use the finial to secure the lampshade. Plus I have a spare in case I need one in the future, I'll be set.

Perfect! I had lamps with tall shades that went on before the bulb and then the bulb held the ashes in place. They were never very sturdy because they were really too heavy. There was no place to add a harp and could never find replacement shades that were made the same way. I somehow came across here on Amazon, and with free ship/free returns and a $10 price point I figured what the heck, I’ll give them a try. So glad I did. Literally takes seconds to install…it takes longer to screw in the lightbulb than it does to add this 🤭. I will say though that they won’t work well on smaller bulbs…but will work for an average and larger ones. I needed to add shades to a pair of small 12 inch lamps that we got at a yard sale. A $1 for both lamps. Somebody had crushed closed the original metal slots that the regular lamp shade brackets fit into. With these clips I was able to easily add the plain paper shades that we decorated for the patio to the lamp fixtures. Will work with any lamp shade that has the small ( around 3/8" ) mounting ring. These were perfect for our project and a great price!

A friend gave me a floor lamp with a sconce top but I wanted to put a shade on it instead - the shape of the recessed area where the sconce had been did not allow for a harp/finial for a spider shade. A halo shade didn't work either due to the same issue. The shades I found in stores with a clip for the bulb were mini-shades. Then I came across this and it is PERFECT! I used the clip on the bulb and put a full size shade on the finial and now my lamp looks exactly how I wanted it. I don't often rave about products but this really is clever and worked perfectly for my needs.

This resolved the issue I had with my lampshades not sitting low enough. What a difference. No more light shining in our eyes

Sturdy and effective in changing my shade options - would recommend and purchase again.
