Superior to Earlier Version
Easy to use and superior to previous version. Excellent video quality. The dual view with the side lens is handy and better than the previous mirror attachment. Used a different app, but can leave both apps on iPhone, if you still have the older model. Only issue the camera part of the head will not negotiate a 90 deg 3/4" PVC elbow, which I needed. Might pass through a 45 deg connection.

its better than nothing but worse than it was?
i LIKE it, i however i LOVED its predecessor more. they added a side camera, and still connects to its app through my phone. very convenient to screen shot and send/save my inspection findings. at a price thats on the verge of complaint, they dropped there previous length from 30 to this new 15 ft. i may buy again if it breaks but with inflation i doubt i actually will by the time it breaks and price increases. it works well. i wish it came in a nice zip up case instead of a cardboard box.

Beginners Experience
I have a 100+ year old brick rowhouse that constantly has a new issue. For the past year I have been trying to find where water is getting into one wall. After working with a roofer, 3 masons, 2 carpenters etc. . . the issue still exists. While the wall was partially open, I wanted to see if I could see inside and figure it out. So far, I have not been successful but I hold hope that maybe I will during the next big storm. But, the scope did its job. I found the dual cameras useful for navigating through the tight spaces and they allowed me to better sense if the scope was heading/aiming in the correct direction. This is an "extra" that is worth buying. For the tight space, the light was good and images clear. I found connecting to the app easy and switching views easy. Even though I bought it for that one purpose, I decided I would have enough future needs that it would be a good tool to keep around. I thought of how many times over the past year I used my cell phone to video something out of my view. For example, hanging out a second floor window stretching my hand above the window holding my cell phone on video mode so that I could get a video of the wood on the transom above to see the extent of damage. Next time, I can send the scope instead (from inside my house) and get a better view. There have been a couple times it has saved me from pulling out a ladder. Plus, I can image in the future the hook or magnet attachment becoming useful for myself or a family member/friend. I have had one good use so far. I believed that the flue in one chimney was not operating correctly. Using the scope I now have confirmation that it is not working at all. Since the chimney was a larger space, the lighting could have been stronger. It was also harder to hold the scope steady enough to get a good image. But, I was able to get my answer. The control issue would be the same with any scope you bought. Overall, I am happy with my purchase but this is also my first scope purchase/use.

Awesome!!! So helpful!!!
This camera has been invaluable in figuring out a path to drop a new Ethernet cable. It made looking into the walls so easy so we could find a good path to pull the cable. Picture is great, and it works very well! Light dimmer was also surprisingly helpful as we needed to dim the light to not get as much reflection off some duct work. This was a great buy! Have no doubt it will be useful again in the future!!

Dual Lens Game Changer for an already great endoscope
I have extensively used a Depstech WIFI Borescope Inspection Camera as my go to tool for internal inspection for automotive, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and other types of applications since 2017. When the Dual Lens Wireless Endoscope was recently released I was hesitant to buy it since my borescope purchased in 2017 is still working great. I could not imagine the new Dual Lens Endoscope could be much better. Hard to imagine but it is better. The side view lens alone makes inspections even easier. I would need to bend and rotate the end camera with the original device to see side walls. With the new device I switch to side view and rotate, much easier to do and the view angle is better and wider. It captures more in the picture or movie. There is also a mode where both cameras are active and can be viewed on the phone. Excellent added feature. Clarity of the images are great and the videos are smooth. The brightness of the 7 LEDs are controlled by a easy to use roller. Adjusting the brightness greatly enhances the images and movies with various reflective surfaces and lighting conditions. A lucky friend will be very happy when I gift him my original borescope because I am keeping the new Dual Lens Endoscope.

From 4 to 1 star in less than 6 uses :(
Bought this product in September 2024. When first using it, I will say it is very user friendly and great for an inspector or mechanic. The picture is clear and can switch to different clarities and positions around the bore. The light is pretty good and it’s super easy to operate. With any scope like this, the orientation can be a bit confusing when looking at certain objects in certain positions. I used this to see within a deep unexpected void within a 10’ concrete retaining wall. I was able to get clear photos for my structural engineering team. Used 4-5 times without abuse in mild heat/no precipitation. After every use I put it safely in the box in my desk. Fast forward 7-8 months and I went to turn it on and use it again for an unforeseen condition within a structure. The scope would not turn on, charge or respond to the on/off switch. 4 out of 5 stars first few times I used it and even recommended it to colleagues. Now I rescind my 4 stars and substitute it with 1 star. Potential customer service care could increase this rating drastically depending on the outcome

Muy buen producto. Me ha sacado de varios apuros. Muy buena imagen y me gusta mucho que tenga dos camaras. Es muy sencillo de usar con el celular. Para este modelo particular me gustaría que su cable fuera más largo, ahora mide 5 m.

Very pleased with the performance of this little gadget. Delivery was quick and setup fairly easy. Pleased that app also works with iPad as the picture is so much larger than on the iPhone. Needed to check for presence of rodents behind panelling in porch. Drilled several 3/4 “ holes and was able to check entire wall. Later on cut 1 inch length from 3/4 “ wooden dowel and closed the drilled holes.

Connected to an iPhone XS Max easily and quickly by wifi. Resolution good for the quality and cost of the device. * I have experience using industrial endoscopes to inspect telecom conduit.
