Great Tool for Furnace Airflow Balancing
The Probe Kit is self contained and very simple to use. The software for iPhone is a little quirky but does a good job once you figure out the nuances. It is easier to use with an iPad, only because the bottom of the display is covered by the keyboard when trying to enter data.Combined with the ABM200 Airflow meter, this makes an extremely valuable addition to any HVAC toolkit.

Just buy a regular monometer
This thing sucks,a hundred bucks and it won't stay connected to my Bluetooth,it's inaccurate as hell and half the time doesn't register.

Cool static pressure tool
Cool static pressure tool. Bluetooth connects easily and has magnetic mount. You can save your measurements and has an email feature. Only drawback is the case, it looks awesome but is too tight to get the hoses back in after use. But you can always tips the case and store it however you please. This product is more like 4.5 stars because of the case

Could be improved with little effort.
Not enough instructional information available. None with the device. Minimal with inadequate detail online. The online version didn't match my device. Included angled probes but should also have straight probes for measuring pressure through thick coverings.

Great when the app works
A coworker suggested this brand of tools to me for use in light commercial HVAC maintenance. I started with the ABM-200 airflow meter and love it, so I tried this one too. The hardware is great for the price. Nothing fancy, just what it needs to work. The accessories work fairly well. The magnetic bases of the tubes require that you drill a very clean hole in the duct work. Any burrs or bends will cause inaccuracy. Batteries are long lasting. My main gripe with AAB tools in general is the app. When I got the ABM-200, it had it's own dedicated app and it worked great, save for the occasional bluetooth issue. Then when I got the SPM-100, I downloaded the new app that "works" with all of their tools. New app feedback:*Pro: the built-in tests remove some of the guesswork or confusion for new technicians.*Cons:-Connecting devices: the first time I use the app each day I must open the app, then reboot my phone and reopen the app before any device will connect.-Phone lock: if I am running a test and my phone locks during the test, the app freezes once I unlock again. I constantly lose data I wanted to save, and I constantly have to reconnect to or restart the app.-Saving results: the job feature is so confusing I have given up using it. The only practical way to save results is via screenshot. They should scrap it and go to a conventional approach for this functionality.-Updates: nothing has improved since I got this newest app. I want to see more active development and addressing of the issues everyone has. Step it up and support your customers with a product that delivers! The only reason keep using this device is because I can't justify spending on yet another manometer while also stepping back to non-connected tools. It performs accurately enough for my needs and the price wasn't too high. I will look at something much higher-end when I do decide to replace it.

Crazy to live 10-yrs like that huh
WOW! If you are a DIY kind of person this meter is for you. I have a 4,000 sq ft home with only a single 5-ton unit. My house is 10-yrs old and I have never been able to get "total" comfort even from day one. Crazy to live 10-yrs like that huh? It has only been the past 4-yr where brain/body has been sober enough;-) Anyway I had been looking at a "zoning" system. After all damper and controllers I was looking at almost $3000. I balance airflow and pressure for around $130! I will say I used the counterpart kit which is the AAB-200 which handles the temp and air-flow portion. I do wish wish there was better training/documentation center on the site, but overall this product is very intuitive. Some simple physic and math (and Google) will get you there easily!
