It comes with a charger cable(usb to micro usb) which you can plug into any power source. If you have a samsung charger that one will work too.

You can take payments using your mobile device using a data connection, IE 3/4G.

Does this work in the uk and globally or only the usa??

Square readers are region specific! Readers purchased from UK merchants only work with UK Square accounts, same for the USA and Australia.

does this come with the dock?

No It does not. Amazon do sell the dock but it is extra, and not really needed.
