I purchased Smart Living batteries for the lights. They aren't Energizer or Duracell, but I'm going to try them next. We used lights for 14 days from 6PM to 11PM for a total of 70 hours. The lights got progressively dimmer. It struck me when I had to replace the batteries of a strand that went dark. The difference between the new battery strand and the others was striking. I'm not sure that the product is to blame for the poor battery life, but guidance on the brand to buy and the duration to expect would be helpful.

I’m surprised that these string lights as tiny as they are are super bright. Very attractive.

These are very pretty lights however they burn through batteries very quickly. We have to replace with new batteries every 5-6 days as they begin to dim as each day passes. I have other battery powered lights that are used in a similar way, wrapped around garland, and lit for the same amount of time, and they have not needed their batteries changed yet. I started the different strands of lights with new batteries on the same day. If you are using rechargeable batteries, I guess this wouldn’t be that big of an issue but we are using single use batteries, so we’re going through them quickly.

I wasn’t sure how to judge the scale of these tiny lights. If you’re also wondering this, I’m posting a picture. They are just the right scale for the little one gallon rosemary tree I decorated for Christmas. The copper wire disappears. The one thing that is difficult is untangling upon unpackaging.
