Cheapest quality of pen I have have had in my life I regret to purchase this

The pen design is almost an exact copy of the Lamy Safari, but the quality is not. I've been using one Lamy Safari for 18 years and another for 14 years. Both have worked flawlessly. I bought this pen partly to see how the copy worked. The pen wrote fine. The clip was too tight to use easily. The reason for the one star was that after 5 days of use, the pen leaked about 60% of the piston converter volume out of the tip. I cleaned it up and tried again. Same event two days later. At that point clean up was wrapping the whole mess in a paper towel and throwing it in the trash.The pen may look like a Lamy Safari, but it's not one. Don't be fooled.

This is a good pen, and I would recommend it to any one who is looking for a descent pen. It is not a great pen. The fine nib seems to be wider than some of my medium nib pens. It is plastic but for the price, you really can't argue with what it is. There is also a little window in it where the ink is visible, which I wish more pens had. The heft for it is a little off but it fits my hand well. This pen did come ahead of time- about a week ahead of schedule, and Ink cartridges were included! I would recommend this to any one who is looking for the starter fountain pen. It is worth the price and it does the job.

I purchased this pen to see how it would rival with other fountain pens in the same price range. I was rather dissatisfied. The pen had to be stored nib up or the ink would run. I tested this with several inks including noodlers bulletproof inks. The results where still a cap full of ink. However the pen did write quite well. It just felt too much of a hassle and upkeep to justify not spending $10 more dollars and getting a Lamy Safari. There's simply no real comparison once you've held them both.

I've been buying fountain pens lately on Amazon, and most have been very nice quality, heavy, metal construction with beautiful baked on finishes. This pen, on the other hand, is plastic. Plain and simple. My normal ink cartridges did not fit this pen, but it comes with a cartridge suitable for using with bottled ink. This is a pen I'll use when I don't care if it gets broken, but it will never be a daily driver for me. It writes well, and performs as expected. My only issue is the quality feels cheap.

Great first fountain pen. It is a little flimsy, but it's cheap and can easily be replaced. The clip on the cap in separating from the plastic but there is nothing wrong with it that affects it functionality. It's still a good pen at a great price. I like the fine point. It's not big at all and that is what I wanted.
