Clean eating for Dummies.. And oh so Yummy!
first let me say that I ADORE this book. For one.. the quality of the printing and binding. I can't tell you how many books I have gotten that when I got them I was surprised they weren't falling apart or were just bad quality.. You know what I'm talking about.. The ones that are on the newspaper quality paper... or the colors are off.. Just for a paperback book.. It has a hard cover quality. My only complaint is that there aren't photo's for every recipe... I LOVE photo's in a cook book.I also love that there is such a variety of recipes... Gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian, vegan.. with over 150 recipes there is something for everyone's tastes..The reason I chose this book over others of its kind is that its NOT a diet book. It is showing how to change your lifestyle to eat cleaner and be healthier.. Which is what I am attempting to do right now.I have been taking one recipe a day and attempting it whether its the Braised Pork Loin wzith Dried figs and Roasted Asparagus..(SOOO Yummy btw!) or the Carrot Cake Cupcakes! (A total hit with the kids in my 3 year old daughter's Gymnastics class)The number one reason I love this book? It has weekly menu's.. Grocery shopping lists..(No wasted food!) and preprep tips that make it super easy to prep up to a weeks worth of food in just a couple of hours! This is something that form someone like me that is always running around and busy.. was a BIG plus. Its always been our excuse that the reason we ate so bad was that we are always on the go... always busy.. we didn't have time to run around and grocery shop and cook dinner every night.. With this new book I've been cooking dinner every night and its been quicker then if I was to order out! (And healthier!) I love that my family has been cleaning their plates too!So if you are looking to eating healthier.. losing weight and serving food that is yummy AND easy to make? This book is for you!

This book is something that you should get a hold of if you want to begin a clean eating regimen. It is filled with recipes for everything from smoothies to drink, baked banana French toast for breakfast, beef and goat cheese quesadillas for lunch, garlic herb popcorn as a snack and chicken broccoli tetrazzini for dinner, not to mention many other choices for these meals. In addition to recipes for these items, it contains processes for dessert dishes like amaretti cookies. But, aside from containing appetizing concoctions, it also has a wealth of information about how one should adopt a clean eating life style. It gives a comprehensive overview of what a clean eating life style exactly is, what you should shop for at the grocery store to commence one and keep it up, and helps you develop a plan so that your new clean eating regimen can be a success. In short, this book is a perfect companion for one who wants to start clean eating. It will not steer you wrong.

Clean Eating is Healthy Living
I really, really enjoyed this book! I am usually pretty good about the types of foods I put into my body, but there are times when I fall short. I love my fruits and veggies but I don't always know what to do with them. I get bored eating the same things over and over again so this 28 Days of Clean Eating has been my go too "recipe book" for pulling recipe ideas for my weekly menu planning. There are however some I'd probably never try, but I get that a lot with any cook book I come across. Clean eating isn't a diet, its a healthy lifestyle everyone should adapt to.

A great idea and great challenge!
I got this as a Christmas gift after discussing with a family member my intermittent fasting plan. My first thought when I saw this book was that 28 days of clean eating would be a real pain in the rear, but after looking through it I discovered how manageable it will actually be. It is all laid out in an easy to do format, beginning with the five simple principles of clean eating, easy planning, and eating clean with a bunch of really good recipes that are do not seem like you are depriving yourself of anything good. This is a really good plan as it is not a hard-core diet. In fact, some of the recipes don’t even seem like they’d be a part of a clean eating plan, such as mini meatloves with mashed potatoes and green beans. Great way to cleanse and feel great!

28 days to healthier habits!
If you’ve ever wanted to stop crash or fad dieting and just learn to eat healthier or “cleaner”, this book may be for you. The idea of “clean” eating is to put the best quality food into your diet, namely avoiding processed foods, “junk” foods, genetically modified foods, etc., and eating more organic and healthy. This book is a 28 day plan, with tips on restocking your pantry and learning to read nutrition labels as well as weekly menus and grocery lists for each week already prepared for you. It even suggest how to equip your kitchen! It’s a great idea, but if you are anything like me- not really willing to try new or different foods- it may prove to be a difficult transition. I haven’t tried any of the recipes, but just looking at the menu plan it’s pretty apparent this would take some commitment. Nevertheless, for anyone wanting to make this change to healthier eating habits, this book pretty much has the step-by-step to do it.I received this e-book for free for the purpose of providing an unbiased review.

A bit repetitive, and similar to other meal-planning books
I've read several health-related books, some general healthy eating, and some with a specific focus. After reading those, and then reading this book, this book outlined a lot of the same repetitious information. The info itself was useful and this book is a good buy for introducing yourself to eating better all around; but if you already know a good amount of healthy nutrition, this book may feel repetitive to you, too. I bought this book to review their weekly eating plans, far less for the first half of the nutritional information. Good buy for people who are introducing themselves to a multi-week eating plan; not for those who have gone through this type of cleansing.
