does this product sting eyes

I use it and re-apply every 3 or so hours. If I am working hard, and sweat heavily, the sweat and lotion mixture usually gets in my eyes. It stings mightily, at which time, I wipe the sweat and sunblock off my forehead and around my eyes with a paper towel. I would think that it would no longer protect, and the protection has probably been reduced, but I still have yet to burn with it on. I have been using it almost daily for 4 months now, and I have not found anything quite as good as this stuff. I have gone through 3 tubes of it, and will probably not use anything else (until they discontinue it).

does this a physical UV protecter or chemical ?

SUNBLOCKSunblock contains PHYSICAL or inorganic ingredients that physically block the sun (both UVA and UVB) . Often it is a much thicker lotion than a sunscreen. Look for Titanium Dioxide or Zinc Oxide as the main ingredient. This may be a better choice for your family if you have anyone with sensitive skin since titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are less irritating than Parsol 1789 found in sunscreen. Because most brands of lotion are a combination of both sunblock and sunscreen, if you are looking for a true sunblock try Blue Lizard Australian Sunblock and Neutrogena Sunblock. SUNSCREENAccording to the American Melanoma Foundation (AMF), sunscreen contains CHEMICALS that absorb UV radiation and reduce the amount that reaches the skin. Many of the chemicals used for SPF such as avobenzone, avobenzene, oxymethylcinnemate can cause irritate the eyes or even cause skin irritation. What does the term "no break outs" mean? Is it noncomediogenic (no blackheads) or just no red pimples?

To me, it means no red pimples, in particular no redness. Other sunscreens make me breakout with redness. Even the Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 55 causes redness for me. The Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 30 never does. In fact, it seems to prevent redness. I do not know the difference between the two in terms of ingredients. The Neutrogena Clear Face SPF 30 seems to be perfect for me in not causing and in preventing. I hope this helps.

Hi, could you please explain why when i click the 55spf neutrogena clear face broad spectrum sunscreen, it moves to the 'skin' box, instead of the 'face' one? are you not selling the 55spf FACE sunscreen?

I have the worst face skin. It's oily, red, full of filaments and small pimples. As soon as the sun hits my face, I turn into a crab, a painful one. I'm also a guy, if that's relevant. This cream has been better for me than any other cream in my 20+ years of life so far. It doesn't clog any pores, it's easy too remove if your want to, with water and a bit of soap, its doesn't smell, and it has NO ALCOHOL so it doesn't dry your skin. I live in Europe and this is the second batch I buy of it. And no, even though you shouldn't use sun screen that's older than some months... I can guarantee that after more than one year it still is very effective at blocking the sun. My face can feel a huge difference at the end of the day compared to not using any cream. I'm pretty sure it also has some kind of moisturizing effect, because for a few hours after I apply it, if I stay kiiinda protected from the sun, my face feels much lighter and radiant.
