A must read.

O Gene Egoísta é leitura obrigatória para qualquer pessoa que se interesse por biologia, evolução, genética... Aqui, Dawkins sintetiza conhecimentos prévios de outros autores para embasar sua teoria sobre a evolução ocorrendo no nível dos genes, e no final contribui de forma original com a formação do conceito de "meme" e sua importância. Adicionalmente, esta edição conta com dois capítulos retirados d'O Fenótipo Extendido, tido pelo próprio Dawkins como uma continuação ao Gene Egoísta, em que ele remove o caráter determinista da teoria do gene egoísta, atribuído por críticos à esta obra.
