For me these are perfect, better than my other two which were purchased at the dollar store and Rite Aid, respectively.Like the princess and the pea, neither too tight nor too loose. Simply perfect. I have a sprained ankle and I am a size 8 or 8 1/2 shoe. I’m wearing one on each foot just to balance out and have worn them almost all day and hardly feel them which is great.

I didn't buy these for compression so if you're looking for that I would say buy a smaller size or dry them in the dryer a few times. I really bought them because I work on a warehouse and need my boots to stop rubbing my ankles so these are extra protection along with tube socks.
