Samsung 2.0Ch 40W Soundbar (2020) - HW-T400

It will never be the most amazing soundbar but for the money you pay it's worth it. Especially for recent slim TVs where the sound is very poor. I have it with a Samsung BU8100 and it works seamlessly and improves the sound. When I turn on the TV the soundbar goes on automatically and everything is controlled by the TV remote, so no need to have the second remote nearby.

This small sound bar packs a punch, and it doesn't disappoint. It is very reasonably priced and packs alot of audio power. I connected it to my TV, it's amazing. Connected it to my Alexa to play music, and the music fidelity is amazing too. You get a great bang for your buck with this soundbar. Highly recommended.

For the price, it's not a bad product and the sound quality is decent. Not for audiophiles, though. But for general home use, it's well worth the money.

Though this model is affordable and not updated but still it works perfectly in our Samsung TV.

It's wireless performance is good. Only sound clipping is there on a bit higher volume, as bass disturbs surround and treble. Treble is a bit lower But as compared to offer worth. Quality is very justified.

For its price i have nothing to complain about its performance. Great improvement from normal tv speakers.

Sound is not so good

Tiene buen sonido para espacio pequeño y la instalación fue sumamente fácil. El espacio que ocupa está perfecto bajo la pantalla. Lo que me parece raro es que a veces no responde al apagado con el control remoto y hay que apagarla manual. En general no me arrepiento por la compra ya que no es un equipo caro y tiene buena calidad de sonido.

We recently bought a new Samsung TV but, in common with all new very thin TVs, there was no room in the casing for good speakers, and so the sound was fairly poor - sounded like everyone was on the phone! Looked at the usual high street offerings and couldn't believe how costly they were. However, looked in Amazon and there was a Samsung L400, and at a good price as it was "without its carton". Received in perfect order, and a day earlier than expected. East to install and set up. Really pleased and the sound is now great!

This Soundbar has the best sound that I have seen or heard in a long time the only issue that I have is that when you're turning the volume up and down on the sound bar it does not show what level of sound you are at so you kind of have to guess. The sound is very clear it's well built easy to set up great value for your money and that's exactly what we needed

I have a collection of movies on VHS tapes and laser discs that I had stopped watching because of the inferior picture and sound reproduction quality compared to DVD's. When I upgraded to an LCD television the picture quality improved slightly to a reasonable level, but the sound reproduction quality did not. The Samsung soundbar has improved the sound reproduction of my VHS tape and laser disc movie collection to a reasonable level and I am able to enjoy them once again. The size and look of the soundbar is a good fit for my television.

Greatly improved the sound quality from our new 43" Samsung TV which was pretty poor on its own. The bar sits neatly between the TV support legs so it looks very smart. The sound bar turns itself off a few minutes after the TV and turns on immediately when TV is restarted. I don't have experience of larger sound bars and subwoofers to compare against but for our mid-sized lounge the sound output from this bar is great.
