Got it for my baby twins and they love it. Good quality, easy to assemble and had a belt to place it around the baby waist so that it keeps him/her safe. You just need a proper drilling machine to fix it in the ceiling .

We got this for our 1year old daughter as she loves being on a swing. The material is good and the addition of the seatbelt is excellent as it ensures the bubs are secured. Only thing i would have hope was clear is the length of the rope for the swing. It was a bit short if hanging from a pergola so now we are waiting for the extender to arrive as the swing is currently on eye level of an adult. Other than that we think it’s worth to buy just keep in mind the length

We've had a few swings before this Monkey & Mouse one. Cheaper models have faded, frayed, cracked (plastic) and have had questionable manufacturing instructions written in broken English which had me worried overall about safety. Totally different experience with this purchase. It arrived in record time (well before when Amazon said it would), had some thoughtful packaging, and is clearly made of high quality materials with very simple to understand instructions. It took about 5 minutes to put together. BEST OF ALL was our daughter who is 18 months old absolutely LOVES it. Depending on the time of day, she either starts squealing with excitement walking towards it saying "up up", giggles to herself the whole time she's swinging, or gets heavy lids and has even fallen asleep in it around nap time! I'm new to Amazon and don't normally take the time to write these reviews, but really impressed with this swing and wanted to share my experience with other parents who are looking to find something similar.

Initially I thought maybe the handful of reviews about babies falling out were just people not using it properly. I was wrong.I bought this swing 5 months ago, when bub was 6 months old. This morning my 11mo bub was raging to get out of the swing. She reached out to me, leaned forward and stiffened her body, and her weight toppled her forward and out. If you think about it, the base of the swing is fabric, so it can flip inside out. That's why the usual design of the hard plastic swings are safer - if the baby leans forward, the strap around their waist restrains them from actually shifting the bulk of their weight over the bar. Not so with this fabric swing. Fortunately I was there to catch her. If I wasn't, it's 50/50 whether she would have hit the ground or not, but best case scenario - if I had done the strap up as tight as it could go - would be her dangling upside down from a moving swing, connected only by a strap around her waist. Picture your baby doing this. It's not okay. I'm not convinced that I did do the strap up tight enough anyway, because it's really tricky to do. You need to shift their bum right back as far as it can go to achieve this, but the fabric chair doesn't stay put when you try to shuffle the baby's bum back. Just moves with it.Maybe you think younger babies wouldn't be high enough to topple their body weight over. That's probably wrong, but even if it's right, my bub cried every time I put her in the swing until she was 9 months, and I daresay that would be the same for many other babies.This swing is fine if you're happy to be within arms reach all the time, but I wanted to be able to walk away for a couple of minutes at a time to do a bit of housework. That was a big reason for buying it.I'm honestly surprised that Monkey & Mouse have this swing on the market. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen.As for the moisture damage/cracking/mould problem, I have kept my swing outside on a covered deck. I bring it in when there's a substantial amount of rain around. It still looks in perfect condition. That is it's one redeeming feature, and the only reason for buying it over other baby swing options - it looks gorgeous. It is so so cute. If you are willing to pay $100 to get a really cute swing that you can only actually use under close supervision, then this is the swing for you.

The swing itself is good quality - once you're able to hang it, as it comes with no mounting hardware. However, within a few months of outdoor use, the untreated wood has developed sooty mould. Not recommended for outdoor use.

Absolutely love this swing and so does our 1 year old. The quality of the product is second to none and the additional detail of the play rings and beads was a nice addition.This will provide many hours of enjoyment for our all little guy 😊
