Helmet Quick Release Buckle Kit Ratcheted Stainless Steel Helmet Chin Strap Adapter - Install Without Removing Strap Snap

Works great. Good price and quality chin snap/release. Easy to install and great quality and fit on my Harley helmets. Just as safe as the D-rings and comfortable.

So far I'm enjoying the quick release buckle, it has made it easier and faster to put on and remove my helmet. It feels like good quality and like it will hold up over time, but time will tell. The only thing I would like to see is a version with pull tab, sometimes I have to fidget around to try to find the latch to take off my helmet. Instructional video was simple to follow and installation was pretty simple. I did find that I didn't have to remove the strap button on any of my helmets so I left it alone (I didn't want to risk breaking it), then I took the strap and fed it up through the cloth where the strap comes out from so I don't have the excess just flapping around in the wind.

Works well and easy to install, even over the snap on the helmet strap. The only problem that I had is what to do with the helmet strap after it is installed. It's way too long to just let it hang and I didn't want to cut it off. Otherwise it's a good idea.

Awesome product. Incredibly strong. Very easy to install. Scan the QR code on the back of the package for the install video. The only problem I had was going through the D rings. It's an incredibly tight fit for the D rings that is on my helmet. If you have small D rings, get ready to fight it on. I had to use the butt end of pliers to push it through the D rings. Other than that, it works great!

It works on my Scorpion covert fx. Easy to install and made of metal.

Ingenious product. Holds very secure if you can follow directions. Works great for people with bad dexterity or sausage fingers like myself and hate farting around with those D Rings. Makes putting on the helmet an enjoyable experience. Side note, it will grab your beard hairs and rip them out, which unless your kinky. Stings a bit.

I've used this product almost daily for about a year. I love it. I use my bike as a daily driver and not fiddling with D rings is nice. Installation was very easy on my Scorpion EXO AT960 modular ADV-style helmet. I did NOT have to remove any snaps or rivets from my helmet strap, like the instructions suggested. It took some work, but I got the strap through the buckle. It was a good thing I didn't remove the snap from the helmet strap. The snap on the Quick Release Buckle broke a few days ago. I'm not exactly sure when it happened. Last weekend I took a 4 day ADV/Dual Sport ride. I took the helmet off a lot as we stopped frequently. Maybe that was too much for that little metal snap? That being said, I'm ordering a replacement! The price is very fair and if I only get another year of use out of the next one, I'll still be happy! I'd give this item a 5 star review if it didn't fail. To be fair, most riders won't put this on their dirt/off road helmets which get yanked on and off multiple times per ride. UPDATE 12/25 - The 2nd one just broke. It's annoying they can using a slightly higher quality snap.

Excellent product. A must have for your helmet. Installed on my Oneal dirt bike helmet. Way better than messing around with the d-rings.

Super easy to install, no cutting “D” rings etc. Works as it should, easy to do up/release with gloves on. Quality metal construction. Includes strap retainer. Very nice upgrade.

I have quite a mighty beard.. and always struggled with d-rings as my beared would get in the way or get caught and just found it awkward. This little beauty makes it so much easier. People say d-rings provide the most strength, but let's be honest, if something has enough force to break a micro-metric fastener, then my head's probably not attached to my body in that case anyway.
