Independently Published CorelDRAW 2017 & Home and Student Suite X8 - Training Book with many Exercises

The book content wasn't exactly as I expected, but that is not an issue as there is information there. The reason for the 1 star is the layout - it is terrible. I got more confused looking at the graphics (that was supposed to be supporting the text) than reading the text. For a book that is made to enhance your graphic skills, it seems the author/layout guy needs to go back to graphics school! Dreadful book!

This book is a complete starter’s guide to CorelDraw. I had never worked with the program, so I thought I would get a guide to assist me in getting started, and I made the right decision. This book explains how to use every function of the program, and even shows some intermediate/advanced techniques. There are some areas that I didn’t need explained to me, like how to save files, but those kinds of tips will help the absolute beginners that don’t have a whole lot of experience with creating files of any kind.The writing is simple and straightforward. The author clearly knows how to stay out of his own way and deliver the information in a way that allows readers to grasp it quickly. The examples he provides are varied, and they really gave me some good ideas on how to use the program. Honestly, I feel like I could learn any computer program out there if it was explained to me like this book explains Corel.
