A truly wonderful series of comics from Lee and Kirby, though some of the last stories are not particularly epic. They are still fine and you have the Skrulls, Magneto, etc but it is just not up there with the earlier work. My copy was badly creased when it arrived, but as we are in lockdown, the hassle of sending it back, I will just keep it but of late the Amazon deliveries have been getting shoddier and shoddier. The quality of the book was ok but the paper is also a little thinner but the pages etc were all fine. Looking forward to the future volumes such as 7 and 8 as I used to have a lot of those comics and it will be great to finally have them in epic format.

The Epic line has declined in quality in last couple of years, with a thinner and cheaper quality paper. The main issue is the price has increased while the quality has decreased. This particular FF epic is not as thin as the most recent releases but it was defintely going in that direction. I have approximately 100 of these and they are hit and miss regarding quality control. It really depends on which publisher is publishing the epic you are purchasing.
