What is the noise level of the movement? Do the arms sweep smoothly or tick every second?

There's no hand for the sweep, but it does tick faintly. It might be bothersome for those with sensitive hearimg. In a small room it is managable, in a living room, it could be totally unnoticeable.

Do you hang this with a screw or nail? And how many do you have to use so it doesnt fall?

I used a screw, but a nail should work also. The clock is very light. Additionally, it keeps good time.

Seller please confirm: description states glass, however reviews are reporting plastic, can you confirm the lens is glass?

It is not glass on this clock but a nice plastic that Is also east to clean.
