This is a very nice, practical wall plate. It is in fact, screwless but very low profile screwless. Not bulky or too thick like some other screwless wall plates. I would even say that the thinness of this wall plate rivals that of conventional wall plates with screws. Yes, the material is very light weight (some might even consider it sort of flimsy) but that is due to the fact that it is so low profile and slim. As far as those who say that it doesn't sit completely flush with the wall, a small bead of siliconized or latex caulk around the perimeter (that closely matches the wall plate or the wall) but not the underside for aesthetic purposes would remedy this. If you need to remove it in the future, just use a sharp adjustable knife like a Stanley knife and score around the wall plate between the wall and the wall plate and it pops right off. Totally worth it for something that is so reasonably priced and looks so nice once it is installed. Of note: Because it is lightweight and very thin, be careful when installing the screws to attach the wall plate. Take your time and avoid over tightening. You might even want to use a manual screwdriver and not anything powered or electric.
