You got big ears? This is the upgrade for you. The original ear cups were so comfortable and luxurious but they were more like on-ear than over-ear for me. After a few hours of using then I was definitely feeling the squeeze. My ears were also sitting right up against the drivers which was not nice after a bit. These XLs have a larger cup, are deeper (though you might not notice just by looking) and are firmer. They’re not as plush as the original cups but that’s a good thing because if they were then they’d squash the drivers back against my ears again! Still they’re extremely comfortable and I can do hours with these on no complaints. The leather on these are just as soft as the original cups. In addition, I got them in grey and they look real slick with the black headphones. Definitely suggesting these cups from V-Moda since others might be the same price or less but could not be as great. I’ll update if anything changes my opinion!

Reasonably priced - does everything as advertised. Should be the standard cushions that come with over-ear V-MODA headphones IMO.I bought these as I use my V-MODAs (Crossfade 2 Wireless) ALL THE TIME. Long gaming sessions, longer streaming sessions and even longer long-haul flights.The added comfort alone (standard was fine but these are better) was worth the investment. The improved sound quality and depth of sound-stage is a huge added bonus.Frustrating I couldn't order Black ones for speedy delivery but the Grey ones look really cool with the Rose-Gold theme my headphones are rocking. Changing the cushions is easy but I recommend you watch a YouTube tutorial on how to do so before trying it.10/10 recommendation from me.

I held off for years with the standard ear cushions that come on the headphones. Big mistake. These were easy to install (I looked up a youtube video) and they snapped right into place. I have been able to wear these with zero pain for 6-8 hours with zero pain, compared to 2-3 hours with the standard ones. I haven't noticed any change in music quality or performance.I have them installed on a pair Crossfade 2 Wireless headphones (It's been awhile since I bought them so I'm relying on memory). These are non-folding and I have the old style case. These fit into the case with no problem. I can't speak to the newer models that fold into the smaller case on how fitment is.
