Been teaching for over 25 years and thought I had it figured - then I read this book. So many great ideas and research to back them up. I would recommend this text to every teacher and educational leader out there.

I'm only on my first 'read through' and have gotten to chapter 5. This is perhaps one of the clearest, most practical books I've read that addresses how to reflect on your current teaching practice, see where you and your learners are, where you both should be and then most importantly lays out how to get there.

Great summary of Hattie's work. This book puts everything in a short, easy to understand, practical way that educators should be able to look at and make small changes that will lead to great student gains.

Took awhile to get it, but Hattie is always a worthwhile read for teachers and administrators.
