Great shoe!!!
Great shoe! Fabulous arch support for plantar fasciitis but if it’s too much you can remove the insole and replace with one that has less arch. LOVE the style because I do not like a really thick sole on sneakers. Makes your foot look small. Have 2 pair and buying another pair!Vionic PLEASE do not discontinue this style! It’s classic!

These shoes are nice. The only thing is if you order size up. I ordered my normal size 9M and did not have enough toe room when socks put on.

I have never loved a pair of active shoes so much!
I'm a big Vionic fan, but had never purchased a pair of active shoes before these. And I don't think I'll ever go back to any other brand! These are so comfortable - my feet feel like they are walking on clouds! They have amazing support and my legs and feet don't feel fatigued after going on walks. I believe these are a "discontinued" style, but if you find them in your size, I highly recommend purchasing them! I didn't even need to break them in - they worked perfectly right off the bat! Also, the size I purchase depends on the style of Vionic shoes - for these, a 9 Regular worked just perfect. (For dressy flats, I usually need a 9 Wide or 9.5 Regular) So try a couple different size options to make sure you're getting the best fit.

Love the inside/Hate the outside
These shoes were a welcome treat for my feet, as plantar fasciitis plagued me for months before finding these. I wear a 7.5 wide, which is what I bought. They fit like a dream. The arch was perfect. My feet were so happy. I wore these shoes for 3 months, probably 3 days a week. Everything was going so well, and then...two holes formed and my pinky toes were playing peek a boo with the elements. I was crushed. These shoes were not in the least bit tight and my toes did not rub. So I came back here and searched the questions/reviews to see if I was alone. Sadly, I'm NOT the only one who is heartbroken and showing off their white sock covered pinky toes to the world. The soles of these shoes are in perfect condition. These shoes are not in the least bit worn out anywhere else. For $129.00, I shouldn't have to sew the top of my shoes....And now my search continues for a shoe for plantar fasciitis that is quality throughout.

Can't compare with their wonderful sandals
I am very, very disappointed. I wear Vionic sandals almost exclusively because their construction and arch support help me immensely. I am older, pronate my ankles when I get tired and have a bunion on one foot. The SANDALS keep my feet happy, and align me as I walk. If I wear other sandal brands for more than 1x between Vionic sandal wear, my knees and hips start to ache. My energy level also is diminished. So I worship at the feet of the Vionic Sandals Gods. They are fabulous. So who the heck designed their sneakers?? I have tried and sent back a few pairs. Because of expense, I had been trying on and returning "sale" Vionic sneakers now and again, to no success, and thought if I spent retail on THESE sneakers that were advertised as highly suggested for my needs, I may finally have a good pair. It would be worth the cost.Boy, was I wrong. These are a "wide" size but they are NOT WIDE enough to comfortably house my toes...the toe box is not wide nor long enough. The shoe runs small in length, too, when compared to other sneaker brands of the same size. The interior is hard. When one wears sandals, the firm bottom works. It doesn't on sneakers...one needs a semblance of cush. You can't insert a cushy pad because then there is literally no room for your foot because the upper is not "tall" enough to accommodate. Can't there be support with cushion built in? My foot was squeezed and the short length coupled with the lack of necessary width, and a hard bottom made walking uncomfortable.Vionic obviously understands and well meets the sandal design needs of people with foot and walking support issues. I hope Vionic reads this and changes up their "closed" shoe design, including sneakers. I can't believe anyone testing these sneakers for Vionic would say, wow, these are great! They're not. I'm sad.

skeptical but it solved my PF
I love Vionic shoes, but I find that they don't last all that long (don't get their Beach shoes if you wear them for more than a few hours). I'm on my feet all day long, and when my shoes wear out, I can't walk by the end of the day. Literally, it feels like I'm walking on pins and I want to crawl.I saw that these Tokyo shoes were on sale, so I thought I would try them. When I opened the box, I thought they were too firm and couldn't believe they would work (I like to wear my squishy Oofas after work). Like another reviewer said, the arch support seemed a little too far back. But I thought I would try it anyway since the price was worth it.A month later, I love these shoes! I can walk at the end of the day and I even wore these at a 15 hour day at a theme park where I did 20,000 steps. I will definitely order these again.
