Immediately solved my problem.
Years ago I began saving money on my electric bill by replacing all of my incandescent light bulbs with CFL's. At the time, they were very expensive compared to regular bulbs, but the payoff seemed to be a combination of lower electric usage combined with a much longer life span. When the price of the CFL's became more affordable, I went all in on replacing all of my incandescent bulbs with the CFL equivalents. We are all familiar with the problems associated with CFL's. They took forever to warm up (though they did fix this with some later versions). The light was never pleasing to the eye, and I seem to recall health problems associated with being continually bathed in fluorescent light. The quality of the light began to degrade long before the bulb finally burned out. I had to replace more than one wall switch due to arcing when switched on. The bulbs themselves looked absolutely awful until they starting encasing them in a glass bulb which seemed to be easier to break. The first LED bulbs were very expensive, and I waited until a year and half ago to try some out when the Philips A19 twin packs were offered at Lowes for $5.00. Man. What a difference! I replaced a bank of six lamps in my bathroom, and then put the CFL's in my dining room. The only problem I had with the bulbs in the bathroom was that they were very large, and at 2700k, a little too yellow for my liking. At least I no longer had to give the bathroom "warm up" time. As soon as I got these OxyLED A19's, I put them in the bathroom fixture, and at 3000k, the light looks a little whiter, which is better for mirror, and "library" use. These A19's have a tighter base, and look much better in the light fixture (see photos). I have always liked OxyLED products ( I have some flashlights and nightlights) and I believe them when they say that these lamps have a 25,000 hour lifespan. I have temporarily moved my Philips bulbs to the dining area, but I have decided to replace them with more OxyLED bulbs in the future. These bulbs are actually cheaper when you factor that in because the Philips A19's have a lifespan on only 11,000 hours. I just love how much cooler these lamps run compared to CFL. I am officially replacing all of my bulbs with LED's now, and saving the CFL's to put in all of the fixtures when I move, so that I can keep my LED's! I recommend these to anyone who wants to become more energy efficient. And let's not forget reduced maintenance! This would definitely be recommended for anyone with vaulted ceiling fixtures. Imagine only having to replace them every 25 years! The only downside is that these bulbs are not dimmable. If you have a dimming application, you will have to spend a little more for some bulbs that are, but only for that application. I will update this review if I experience any premature failures.I was given a free sample of this product in exchange for my unbiased review.

Shines Brighter than the Rest!!!
Instant on, very bright light, fast shipping from Amazon, and stellar customer care when something goes wrong. What's not to love!! I have stopped buying bulbs from my local big box stores..... the quality and selection here is so much better. Brightened my day, literally!!9.30.2016 - UPDATE:I still love these bulbs, even more than when I first purchased them. In fact, I am on my second box.I also love the customer service from Hisgadget. One of the bulbs started acting up, after being used for 15 minutes. One quick email to the company and a replacement was on the way! #Customer4life12/2016 Update - Still like these bulbs, but minor issue. For some reason, one of the bulbs started flashing after being installed. It must be a single bulb issue, as I removed the flashing bulb and replaced with a different bulb, no issue. Unfortunately, I see no way to return the bulb as the "return period has past". They are not that old, and nobody uses all of the bulbs immediately, so I am lowering my review by a star. This may alter my purchase in the future.

Decent LED to replace incandescent bulbs
Not sure what makes a good LED, but these seem just fine. They turn on when you flip the switch (which I am told doesn't happen with some LEDs that take a second before they fire up). The seem bright enough for my use, which is in some exterior lights next to the front, back, and porch doors. The color of the light is on the yellower/warmer side of the spectrum, which supposedly means they will attract less bugs than the bright white ones, but I will see if that turns out to be the case. If they last, then they will be a good purchase as they use a fraction of the energy that a normal incandescent bulb uses.

Two Stars
2 of the bulbs have already burnt out on 2 separate fixtures. 23 years...hmm. They hardly get used either.

OxyLED®: A19 LED Bulbs First Look
The media could not be loaded. This is an unbiased review of the OxyLED®: A19 LED BulbsDisclaimer: I received this product in exchange for an honest unbiased review.First Look: Upon unboxing the product I was very impressed at how simple the packaging was, it was very clean and nice. The product itself is a very nice product. It is not made out of glass like your regular incandescent bulbs, instead it's made out of hard plastic. The base itself fits a standard light socket perfectly I had no issues installing the bulb. The light output amazed me! It was definitely noticeably brighter than my regular CFL bulb. This bulb was rated at 3000k (soft white) which I definitely agree to be accurate. It does give off a soft white hue while only using 9w. Definitely sounds a lot better than the standard 60w right? Overall they are built to last the 25,000 hours. I have been using their products for almost a full year now and have never had an issue. That being the case I am very happy with these bulbs and would recommend them to anyone that wants bright light and also trying to save money at the same time!* If you look at my last picture you could see the comparison of this bulb with a standard 60w CFL bulbPros:Hard long lasting bodyVery brightlight weightInstantly turn onDoes not get hot! (Warm to touch when lit)Fair priceGreat, Reliable, companyCons:Not DimmableReflection:Overall this is one amazing light bulb! Stands up to everyday use and is very versatile! 5 of 5 stars to this product!Watch my YouTube video review of this product by searching "OxyLED®: A19 LED Bulbs First Look"
