This is a really nice looking, compact, metal flashlight. It has a clip on the side and a very strong magnet on the end that can support its own weight both vertically and horizontally so it can be mounted standing on metal, hanging down from metal, or hanging off the side of metal. It also comes with a usb to micro-usb cable so you can plug it into any standard usb port to charge it. It also has rubber gaskets and a rubber flap over the micro-usb port to increase water-resistance.The flashlight has four modes: high beam, low beam, constant strip, and strobe/flashing strip. In either beam mode you can change the focus from tight to wide by moving the lens. I have only ever used the flashlight in high beam mode. The battery life in this mode okay/adequate, but not great, it lasts around 45 minutes. Honestly, this may be great for this or a comparable product, but it means I have to recharge it every three days which I feel isn't especially great. However, this is using the included rechargeable 3.7-volt battery. The good news is that the battery is rechargeable which is infinitely better than batteries that have to be replaced. If you switched it with a battery with higher amp hours it should increase the battery life. And since usb chargers are so ubiquitous now between portable smart phone chargers and chargers built into vehicles its pretty easy to charge the battery while you are sleeping, driving, working, etc.Bottom line: I would definitely buy this flashlight again and would definitely recommend it to others.

Nice flashlight, The intelligent on/off switch is a great asset, and my main reason for purchasing this product. Battery life is shorter than expected. The supplied 18650 battery is only good for about 1.7 hrs. On the high setting. Used my Tester to perform a NOR Test and a Fast Test to determine the battery capacity. NOR Test: 1039MaH; Fast Test: 1036 MaH. I ordered higher capacity 18650 batteries from another seller. Will update this post with test results.

This is really one of those great buys. Does not disappoint. Probably bright enough for a lighthouse! Just the size I needed in the shop to fit where my bigger ones won't. This little guy really is so bright I might even grab it before my bigger ones. Magnet on the base is fairly strong. Battery is removable, so my guess you can replace if need be? Quality seems good, should last a long time, maybe even more than me. I was so tired of the cheapo/freebie dull lights and always looking for batteries I may or may not have. Glad to have this.

I use this light to do maintenance work on machinery. I like that you can turn it off any time by pushing the button for two seconds. Then it comes back on bright the next time you press the buttons.Cycling through all four modes every time would be a deal breaker for me.It is very bright and the side mounted light bar works great in conjunction with the magnet at the end.It is also nice that you can change the focus from very narrow to wide.I don't have a sense of the run time just yet and try to recharge before it goes out to increase battery life.

Listen here, change the name to assault instead of tactical, I turned this on and cycled through the lights and absolutely blinded myself the first time, like physically jolted when it hit my eyes, I tried to dodge a beam of light. I’m not joking, it works great, but has this awful design flaw, if the side light in the handle of the flashlight itself was not on the same side as the power button, when you’d hit the power button the light would not shine back at the user initially. But all in all works great, it does get a little warm, but I couldn’t tell if that was the battery, or my hands heating up the thin metal. Be weary.

It's a good looking light performs OK. But did not come with charging cable . But Amazon came to the rescue

The instructions are obviously translated from another language into English, so some phrases were unusual, but I figured out what was being said. I like the small size and the various lighting options. Being rechargeable is very convenient. It is also magnetic..nice!!

I ordered 3 sets of these for my 2 sons and a girlfriend for Christmas presents. In order to ensure they were ready to go out of the box, I unpacked each one to test and fully charge them. One of them refused to function and i was able to determine the battery was bad in it. Otherwise they appear to be very satisfactory. i will be filing a claim for either replacement or a new battery
