what are the options to connect for power? I'm wanting to build an external speaker box using this head unit.

Connect to any 12V source. Positive and ground or you can run a wire right to the battery.

Does this require a antenna to pick up radio stations?

It comes with an antenna that is a small flexible wire but yes you need to use it to receive radio stations. I tucked it in the dash of my SxS.

Can you add 2 more speakers to this head unit?

Yes you can add 2 more speakers but the head unit will only allow 50 watt speakers I believe. You will have to read the description. It even has a hook up for a subwoofer but you would need an amp to power it.
