🩵 Such a beautiful, exquisite lamp! After carefully researching and reading reviews, I ultimately purchased the two Pagoda lamps as background props for my YouTube filming. I was not disappointed in the design. Here’s my assessment… ➕ PRO: Absolutely gorgeous design. ➕ PRO: The details in the wood-work and the lovely "window" designs are just precious! ➕ PRO: There's just nothing like the unique, beautiful ambiance that these lamps provide. ➕ PRO: The packaging was great; the lamp fits in air-tight padding to help prevent damage in shipping. I think I lucked out in that my lamps were packed in a large box with other items I'd ordered, thus protecting it in the shipping process even more. ➕ PRO: These lamps are simply exquisite-looking in the dark. The different colored lights I ordered elsewhere as going to make it even more magical. ➖CON: The roof is plastic while the rest of it is a beautiful wood. Despite this, it is still stunning and well worth the purchase. ➖CON: Bulb is too bright. knew the bulbs would be too bright for me based on the reviews. So I prepared in advance by ordering color-changing LED bulbs with a remote control elsewhere. The remote is helpful because other reviews indicated that the placement of the device that turns on the lamp is not ideal. ➖CON: One bulb was missing in the box. I didn't fret much when I did not receive the light bulb for one of them, as I knew they would be too bright for me. I almost gave it four stars instead of five due to not receiving one of the bulbs, but chose to believe it was an accident (I hate returning things). However, after spending that much, they should've really been more careful to ship all parts. ❓Not sure if you should purchase or not? DO IT! These lamps are exquisite. Just make sure to open right away to check for all parts, including bulbs, and check that nothing is cracked or broken. Be sure to save the original boxes to store them in. And if you hate extremely bright lights, order warm lights or LED-color-changing lights like I did. Consider ordering remote-controlled lights elsewhere to make up for the strange placement of the lamp switch.

This Antique Alive Carved Wood Table Lamp is stunning to look at. The detail and craftsmanship is top quality. The house part is wood, the windows are either acrylic or real glass, and the roof seems to be made of bakelite. The roof is very fragile. I know this because this hanok house light is the second one I ordered. The first arrived with a shattered roof, so I returned it. I couldn't get it out of my mind so I ordered again, hoping it would arrive intact, and it did! It takes two lights, one a C7 Christmas light type and the other a standard thread bulb. I think they're E6. This one went on top of an antique Korean chest we've had for decades, along with a few other Korean decorative items that were crying out for this Hanok lamp to complete the look. It certainly does all that. I'm very happy with this purchase, even though $229.00 is a lot to pay for a decorative light, in my opinion. It looks to me to be a quality item all the way around. I'll add that when I was in Seoul, last year I looked at similar lamps and the price was not a lot different for something of this size and quality, so there isn't a huge mark up, plus I didn't have to cart it all the way across the ocean myself. Very happy with this authentic piece of Korean craftsmanship. March 29, 2024 - My son pointed out a piece of cracked wood on the front of the lamp. It appears to be either from an impact or some type of stress. Anyway, it was there from the beginning, since it's in the pictures I took of it when it first arrived. Now, I can't unsee it and I wonder if the manufacturer would offer a trade. For the money spent, I'd prefer a product with no defects. These are beautiful, but if you order one, check it over very carefully when it arrives. I didn't and now I feel a little less happy with my purchase. Like I got a second, instead of a perfect product, but still paid the perfect product price.

The lamp is beautiful and very well made. Esty has a lamp that looks very similar to the one Amazon is selling. The cost is $71.62 but it has a shipping fee of $55.00 and ships from Korea. One of the nice things about being a Prime member is no shipping fee and fast delivery.

I am so impressed by this lamp. The wood is real, with a rich dark color. The drawings on the sides are protected by glass. I love how it looks like a little Korean home. I would suggest a soft low watt. LED light. You will not be disappointed. It would make an excellent gift.

The pagoda is beautiful...seems well made. Top is not wood but looks very nice. 2 issues w/ the description of all items to choose from. 1-- The switch on the cord could be closer to the lamp, not so far down . The pictures show the switch much closer than it actually is. 2--The LED bulb is not soft light. It is VERY bright, harsh & hard on the eyes as some LED bulbs are. The socket & bulb base are an E14 European type. An E12 which the description recommends to use does not fit into the bulb socket in the Pagoda. I'm guessing that will be the case w/ all the lamps. I ordered, from Amazon, E14 LED 3.5 bulbs which say warm light & are not. Light is still very harsh. So to remedy the problem, I took an old pill bottle which is dark and put it over the bulb. That reduced the harsh bright light a great deal. If I could find something darker it would be even better for the look I hoped I'd be getting by ordering this lamp. I'm keeping, however I believe the info in the description needs to be made accurate. $99.00 seems rather high for the number of things that are described incorrectly.

The lamp came well packaged. However, upon unwrapping it, I noticed that the pagoda's roof had a hole in it. It was not damaged during shipping; it was packaged damaged. After several attempts to return the product, they finally sent me a new roof. The lamp looks beautiful, but it is pricy when you closely look at the material involved. However, the company did respond, and I am happy with the end result.

Wonderful lamp. Superb quality and workmanship. It took a while to arrive and I also had to pay £16 import duty, but I am very happy with the product.

Fick den 1 vecka - 10 dagar innan uppskattad tid. Väl förpackad med flera varv bubbelpast i kartongen och runt lampan. En av de mest vackra och välgjorda, Asiatiska lampor jag har sett ! Rätt liten, men passar perfekt till mitt lilla hallbord. Fint att man kan rotera lampan så att olika motiv finns på framsidan. Kom med rätt slags stick kontakt. Köpte också en glödlampa konverter från gänga e 12 till e 14. Den senare sortens glödlampa är ju lättare att få tag på i Sverige. Rekommenderas varmt om du vill ha en Asiatisk touch i hemmet ?
