This is just what I needed. I keep guitars ready to play downstairs in my study as well us upstairs in the living room. Its nice to have it right there where I can just pick it up and play. This stand is very sturdy and looks nice. It is made of steel with rubber foam over the lower arms and a rubber pad where it contacts the back of the guitar. For the price I was kinda surprized to find the quality was so good. I'm very please with the purchase and highly recommend this product for a nice looking and function guitar stand.

This Amazon Basics Adjustable Folding Guitar Stand is exactly what I needed. It’s simple, lightweight, and works well for both acoustic and electric guitars. I like that it comes fully assembled, just open it up and you’re good to go. The adjustable width is a nice touch and makes it easy to fit different guitar shapes. The foam padding on the arms and backrest gives peace of mind that the guitar won’t get scratched, and the rubber feet keep it from sliding around. I reviewed a few stands before purchasing this one, as I never needed one before I got a guitar. So I really didn't know for sure what would be best. I took a chance on this one because of the sheer amount of people who had bought it. It's a very solidly built item, and it's worked out fine for me. The only concern I have is that there's no neck support and I'm always a little afraid of someone accidentally knocking it over. But I use it in my home, and pretty much keep it back and out of harms way. I like that it has a fairly small footprint and doesn't take up much space. If you look at the types that do have a neck support, there's a pretty big tripod it uses for stability. Maybe great for a stage with many people around, but a huge footprint in your home. Consider that. So, at least for me, this was the perfect choice (and you sure will be impressed, considering the affordability!) I'm very pleased with this stand.

PRO: Nice, sturdy guitar stand that doesn't take up a lot of room and is balanced well. It holds my acoustics and electrics without a problem (not bass or jazz guitars, standard Fender strat in my case, and a few other similar styles). Others have said they wouldn't trust it with an electric, but in my case, I don't have that problem. Though I am not gigging, I just use it in my music room to put the guitar down temporarily, when I don't want to put it in its bag yet because I'm not done using it. CON: But one thing that falls short with my electrics at least, is that the small little rectangular pad at the top of the A-frame does not hit the body (it sits too high, so the body hits just below it), and it would have been trivial to cover the entire piece there with a pad for just pennies more. I will say that piece of hardware feels coated with something that has a slightly rubberized feel to it, so it's not bare metal, but it's not cushioned either, except for the pad. I will be buying a black pad to cover the entire part, and deducted a star for that since they claim it's for electrics too. Otherwise I'm happy with it.

Very happy with this. For the price I was surprised how stable and durable it is. I'm thrilled, it's adjustable and my guitar sits well on it!

Nice and simple little guitar floor stand. Light and clever in the way it folds up and can be put away. Handles every guitar I've tried to put on it so far, some of which were problems for other stands I've owned. I would not hesitate to buy this again if I need more.

I've tried several similar stands from different makers, and they have not been good. Many have mostly plastic parts, or are very prone to tipping. This Amazon Basics stand is well made, with metal parts, rubber feet, and dense neoprene foam covering on the arms that support the guitar. It works very well, stows away neatly, and hasn't gotten wobbly from being toted around to gigs. I wish I'd bought another half a dozen when they were on sale, to use in my music room. Excellent value even at the regular price. I've tried a number of guitars of different sizes, & this stand supports them well, with never any tendency to tip. The construction is very sturdy - it will probably outlast me! JANUARY 2022 Follow-Up. No complaints, and I purchased another when the price returned to "acceptable." I've seen or tried some other, "look-alike" stands, and to sum up why the Amazon Basics one is better: The devil is in the details! The steel tubing used to make this stand is a heavier gauge than other brands I've tried. The "angle-adjustment" mechanism works, and has been robust. The rubber cap at the top of the A-frame makes quite a difference in terms of keeping the guitar upright. It's not slippery - others are. Overall, the build quality and materials are just better than what's found in many similar competitors, and they are sturdy. Mine original one has had plenty of use and is still doing the job - which is one reason I finally bought another. The other reason for buying another of these Amazon Basics stand right now is price: after my original purchase, the price per stand climbed and climbed, reaching almost absurd levels. They are now below CAD$20/each, so for a New Years Gift to myself it seemed like a good I buy. I don't see any change in material or overall quality from the 2019 stand, and this one feels very solid, as the original did. My rating of 5 stars has not changed, and I have tried (and returned) several other stands since 2019 because they were shoddy and not up to the job. No stand is perfect for every style of guitar and every person's needs, but this particular stand works very well for me.

Perfecto buen material cumple su función perfectamente

This is the second AmazonBasics Guitar Stand I have purchased. Packaged in the usual AmazonBasics style in minimal and easy to open packaging. Not much to review here, the stand opens out into a sturdy, low and compact stand with two curiously designed arms to accommodate different shaped guitars. Both my Stratocaster and LAG Acoustic fit in the stand as expected. The stand has a good weight to it compared to other similarly priced stands. La tempistica di consegna è sbalorditiva. L'ordine è stato effettuato ieri a pranzo, ed essendo il prodotto già disponibile, l'ho ricevuto circa un'oretta fa nella giornata di oggi. Il prodotto si presenta, di primo impatto, di buona fattura, ed altrettanto può dirsi in termini di resistenza. E l'impressione è confermata una volta adagiatavi la mia chitarra (una 4/4 classica: Eko Cs-10). Facile da piegare e leggero da trasportare, presenta la possibilità di allargare o restringere l'angolo di apertura, così da accogliere diverse tipologie di chitarra. Presenta anche uno strato in gomma nella parte superiore che fungerà da sostegno per la chitarra stessa. Per il prezzo di acquisto poi, lo ricomprerei senza pensarci. Le foto dell'inserzione sono veritiere e rispondenti e mi hanno convinto, di contro alle foto di altri prodotti concorrenti, sì di prezzo inferiore ma di qualità notevolmente più bassa. Non a caso il prodotto vanta tutte recensioni positive, nessuna inferiore alle quattro stelle.

Tengo 4 años con el soporte y no tengo ni una sola queja. Está hecho de buenos materiales, resistente y buena construcción. El que sea plegable lo hace bastante portatil y facil de mover o guardar. Cualquier pieza que tiene contacto con el instrumento tiene un recubrimiento suave, lo cual protege tu guitarra. Además tiene 3 puntos para ajustar el ancho de la apertura, para que se ajustes dependiendo el ancho de tu instrumento. La verdad si volvería a comprarlo de necesitar otro, y lo recomiendo ampliamente!
