No. What comes in the box and what you see below on the Amazon site is all that there is. What you need to now is that there is no clock built into this timer. It is very easy to use. Decide when you want it to come on, and set it at that time. If you want it to water for 15 minutes every day at 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., then insert the two batteries beforehand. At 6:00 p.m., turn the left dial to frequency (12 hours), and the right dial to 15 minutes. It will not turn on at that time. IT WILL TURN ON IN 12 HOURS, AT 6:00 A.M. AND EVERY 12 HOURS THEREAFTER. If you interrupt the cycle at any point during that 12 hours, you will need to again re-program it AT 6:00 P.M. OR 6:00 A.M. This confuses everyone. No clock, so you program exactly when you want it to start and then wait for the next cycle. I hope this helps. It is really a piece of junk and won't last long. Buy an Orbit next time.

Will the slightly higher voltage of lithium AAA battteries damage the timer?

From a reputable article on-line: "Can lithium and alkaline batteries be used interchangeably? No, lithium and alkaline batteries cannot be used interchangeably because they have different chemistries and different voltage outputs. Using the wrong type of battery in a device can damage the device or cause it to malfunction. All this being said, IF the manufacturer of the device says you CAN use lithium batteries, then you can do so. If not, I would not use lithium batteries.

Is there a way to find and fix the internal leak?

Not sure where your leak is. But make sure the seals for the timer and hose attached are still there. It will leak without them.
