Boarding the plane, finding your seat, getting a drink, waiting for the tiny bathroom, landing, and waiting for luggage are covered. The text is very brief but there are details of travel in the pictures that you can talk about with your kids. I was hoping for a book that would help my son be less alarmed by the plane noise and takeoff, and while this doesn’t fully cover those, it gives us a picture to look at while I talk about it. I was biased against ordering this because I tend to avoid popular characters/series, assuming they won’t be well written or clever, but this fit the bill for what we needed and my kiddo loves it. We also got “Playtown Airport” a lift-the-flap book, and he is full-on obsessed with that one. It is much more about the airport and less the traveler experience so I recommend both together.
