it is more like ivory, defently not white. Nice chair for the money

Q: Can you sit cross legged in this chair comfortably?

Yes, but I find it has a little forward lean, so I usually end up sitting on one foot instead. It is certainly more narrow than my prior chairs, but the arms are far enough back they are not in the way if I do cross my legs.
