Review: Exactly What I Needed! - I purchased this to reinforce a part of my computer power cord where the skinny outer sheath was separating from a wider transition section in the cord. (The inside wires were still individually wrapped.) This product may seem a little expensive for the quantity that you get, but a replacement power cord for my laptop was going to be WAY more costly, so I figured it was worth a try. Following the instructions, I was able to mold the putty around the affected section of the cord, set it aside for a couple days to fully cure (part of it was really thick, so I needed to be sure it was cured all the way through), and Bam! my problem was solved. When cured, the putty is flexible enough that it doesn't break when bent, but stiff enough to reinforce the power cord. I actually used this product over a year before writing this review it is still holding up as well as it did a year ago when I first put it on. I would highly recommend this for any odd job where you need a sturdy but flexible final product.
Review: Review of Sugru Moldable Glue - I recently purchased Sugru Moldable Glue from desertcart, and it has completely transformed my DIY projects and household repairs. This innovative product deserves nothing less than a glowing 5-star review! Versatility and Functionality Sugru is the most versatile adhesive I've ever used. It's not just glue—it's a moldable, self-setting rubber that bonds to almost anything. I've used it to fix a broken handle on my favorite mug, create custom hooks for my kitchen, and even repair a frayed phone charger cable. Whether it's ceramics, metal, glass, wood, or plastic, Sugru sticks to it all. After curing for 24 hours, it turns into a durable, flexible silicone rubber that withstands everyday wear and tear. Ease of Use One of the best aspects of Sugru is how easy it is to use. The product comes in convenient single-use packs, which you simply open, mold with your hands, and apply to the desired surface. There's no mess, no complicated mixing, and no special tools required. It's as simple as playing with modeling clay, but with a much more useful outcome. The instructions are clear and straightforward, making it accessible even for those who aren't particularly DIY-savvy. Durability and Longevity Once cured, Sugru is incredibly strong and resilient. I've used it to repair items that undergo significant stress and strain, and it holds up remarkably well. For example, the phone charger cable I repaired is as good as new, despite daily use and bending. Sugru's waterproof and heat-resistant properties mean it can be used in various environments, including outdoors and in the kitchen. Creative Potential Sugru isn't just for repairs—it's also perfect for creative projects. I've used it to personalize my tools and gadgets, add non-slip grips to utensils, and even craft unique jewelry. The possibilities are endless, and the product comes in a range of colors that can be mixed to create custom shades, adding a personal touch to every project. Value for Money Considering its wide range of applications, durability, and ease of use, Sugru offers excellent value for money. Each pack contains enough material for multiple repairs or projects, and the long shelf life means you can keep some on hand for whenever inspiration strikes or an emergency repair is needed. Customer Satisfaction Shipping was prompt, and the product arrived in perfect condition. The seller provided excellent service, and I appreciated the thoughtful packaging that ensures the integrity of the product during transit. Overall, my experience has been overwhelmingly positive, and I can't recommend Sugru highly enough. In summary, Sugru Moldable Glue is a game-changer for anyone who loves DIY projects, needs reliable household repairs, or enjoys creative crafting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Expensive, but fills a valuable niche
*by C***Y on January 2, 2025*

Sugru is its own thing. I think of it less as a super glue and more as a modeling clay that can replace bits of an object/part when full replacement doesn't make sense. One good example of this is the steering wheel of a vintage car, where a chunk has broken off. You can't easily get a replacement, but Sugru can fill that gap and make a lasting repair. The major downside, other than price, is that Sugru has a shelf life of 6-12 months before it hardens of its own accord. I have read that it will last about twice as long if you store it in a refrigerator.
