On the left is this carburator, on the right is the OEM.As you can see these are quite different and adapting would be a major task.I am returning it and would not by again.

It was easy to install and function well.

Double check your spark plug.
Double check the spark plug. The one in the kit may be to long and will hit the piston head and damage the engine. Also the carburetor does not have the spring to hold the choke open.
